Bobby Darling loses her wig when she is manhandled at a party

It has been a trying time for Bobby Darling. Recently, the actor had the most unpleasant experience at a city hotel where designer Rohit Verma was celebrating a cousin's birthday. The guests included actors, models, designers and starlets. Bobby Darling attended the clad in a tee and jeans and a wig with two ponytails.

"There was this group of brawny men in tight clothes. One of the guys approached me saying that he found me cute. He even started clicking my pictures," says Bobby. "Later, my friends Sandeep Sorapkar and Jesse Randhawa insisted that I dance to the Page 3 track. Since I was in the mood to have fun, I obliged. In a few seconds the same man was on the dance floor with me. He tried to get physical and I immediately backed off. Then he came closer and pulled my ponytail so hard that the entire wig came off!"

The man then tried to make a quick escape. "That's when Jesse caught him," says Bobby, who was in a state of shock for quite some time. "It was very humiliating! I was completely shaken, and I cried a lot. What did the man get by messing around with me in public?"

The party came to a standstill and the man was roughed up. "I think he was drunk and misbehaved just to get noticed. Little did he know that he would be caught," says Bobby. She feels that many people at the party just played bystanders. "But it was a skinny woman like Jesse who came to my rescue. This only proves that a woman can be as strong as a man when she has to stand up for the dignity of her family and friends."

Although Verma and other guests wanted to file a police complaint, Bobby decided against it, "I didn't want to make the issue public."
