😳13^th Jan My POV – Ishu stands up for Mahi, and in no hurry to marry

Superb episode today. ⭐️ We still have a ritual of parading our young daughters in front of strangers one of them are destined to be our precious's soul mate. This episode depicted that ritual of every household who have daughters. The pains our families go to welcome these unknown people, the hopes and dreams they attach to men whom they do not know anyting about.

Ishu and Mahi are preparing snacks for the guests and as expected, Mahi is nervous. 😆 Poor girl is shaking and Ishu is getting on her nerves by teasing her, mocking her. But also prepping her up. She is instilling confidence in Mahi, the guy is handsome and he will like you too. Meet his eyes and talk to him, if you get stuck, I am there for you. Such a beautiful bonding between the sisters, hope they always are like this.

The guy ends up liking Ishu and all are saddened and upset.😲 Ishu stands up for Mahi so well. And felt that she was standing up for all the girls out there who get treated as Mahi was done today. 😡She puts her foot down and refuses to get married.👏

Now Mahi and Dadi don't want the proposal to go away and are trying their best to convince Ishu to agree to the marriage. Ishu knows her mind well – she is clear that she aspires to do a lot before she thinks of settling down.

Also, the unsaid reason is Sahil. She pulls out his gift and kisses it, lost in his thoughts. Her heart does not have any place for anyone else.😍

Watch the way Ishu's eyes glaze over with boredom when Dadi is giving her gyan about marriage 🤣and her blushing when Sahil calls her to say how much he loves her. Love Neha's depiction of Ishu. Shyness, masti, anger and assertiveness, Ishu had it all today.
I loved all the characters a lot today and was a great episode. My heart went out to Mahi. So so sweetly she was anticipating the whole visit and what a disappointment.😭 But glad she is taking it in the right spirit and has Ishu to stand by her. Would have liked DM to be a bit human too today, she still calls her dead husband disgusting Man😲 so would be too much to ask live people with sympathy and dignity.😡

Will be interesting to see how Ishu gets out of the wrist watch dilemma, Mahi is watching, so she may bail her out. 😉

In arranged marriage the girl is paraded all dressed up before an unknown family, asking the groom to choose her if he likes her.

The girl is absolutely reduced to a mere exhibition item.

Ishu put in well, the typical questions asked by the boys family.

Luckily , Mahi was not asked such questions, because dadi already told them evertyhing good about her.

Still, she was rejected for Ishu. They announced their decision in front of Mahi. boo..😡

Did they ever think she has a heart, some feelings. She also gets hurt. No!!

Ishu understood that, at point blank, she blasted them. Good job ishu👏.

Still dadi does not want to loose the match. she will try to reason with Ishu. but ishu is in no mood to listen.

she truly loves Sahil, her face glows , shyness creeps , cheeks turn red, when she thinks of him, but marriage is a big no for her now.

In Monday's episode, looks like Sahil will convince his dadi about his love. He is a man in hurry to get married, but his damsel is not ready.

overall a good episode.😊

needless to say neha rocked the show. but all others also acted their parts well.

now we have to pass this boring weekend without our Ishu..
