there wasn't any Addu in today's episode.🤔 he is just so adorable!😆
lol I like Mohan's wifey aka Guru! 😆 He's fun and I like Guru-Mohan relationship from what we've seen so far.
anyhow, coming back to today's episode--- I'm liking the way they're shaping Megha's character. She's not being shown as a damsel nor is she shown as an unrealistic woman...what they call ermm "Jhansi ki rani" type. She has her own moments of strengths and downs. I really like her equation with her daughter. It seems her daughter is an image of her own in a way...may be from back in her college days or so as her friend has mentioned.

Oh and I really like the little girl who plays Nanhi along with her adorable baby brother. First of all she's so darn cute and the way she cries, you feel for her.
She does seem to care for her mother a lot and is her confidante. I also liked that scene where her grandma was making her hair and blaming Megha for the loss of her son, Nanhi doesn't talk back or even look at her grandma, she just gets up and walks out and cries.Yesterday, when Megha was getting ready to leave for the court hearing and stopped to kiss her two kids before she left, Nanhi seemed to have been up and noticing everything. I liked how she tied that knot on her saree like she always does and hugged her mum. Nanhi does seem to be one of the sources of strength for Megha, if not the only one. Looking forward to seeing more of Nanhi in the show.

@Mohan-- So, he's also working on the same case and towards essentially the same goal as Megha is. Given their confrontations so far, it'll be interesting to see how they come to each others' aide regarding the issue.
It'll also be interesting to see how Mohan's perspective and relationship evolves with Mrs. Vyas's kids given how irked he gets with kids normally.

I share Mru's skepticism on crash and burn scenario... none of the new serials have managed to live past the standard two week timeline. Hope this one outlives the others ...

Yesterday's episode was nice. Agree with Fivr that the courtroom drama was OTT. I thought it was insanely idealized - walking into a courtroom without a lawyer or proof of facts is like walking on red hot coal with bare feet and expecting your feet not to scorch and burn! They are so going to lose this case. I think Megha forgot that one cannot win cases only having truth on one's side - this is after all a courtroom, not a debate club!

I'll just re-post what I wrote in the CC:

@bold: That's precisely why I found the father-in-law's spiel about not giving up (the one in the courtroom) a bit melodramatic.. It IS a courtroom! They DO want facts. Just because you have "achai" on your side doesn't mean it's sufficient. I mean come on! Look at the world we live in and be practical.. This "good will always win over evil" approach is used to show protagonists as such LAZY people at time.. If you want to win, do the work!!!.. 😕

I think they went to the courtroom without any advance notice of when the hearing was going to be scheduled. They received the notice a day before. So I can understand them going to the case unprepared. The other dialoguebaazi, is well OTT but I had the pleasure(!) of serving on a jury here in US, and damn, the lawyers tear apart any witness or any statement to shreds. Err, but I digress as usual. I saw some witness being over dramatic on the stand, and skeptic me going " uh huh, stop with the drama" 😛 😆

It is probably being set up for the court case to fail. The builder is going to be a constant pain somehow, through Mohan or Megha herself.

See this is where desi dramas take the hit! The writers might have come up with a good concept but then they themselves ruin it by injecting the stereotypical illogical melodrama in between. Instead of always idealizing the truth/ purity, there needs to be logic in it as well. You can't just win a case, especially this one which involves general public, with just emotions and word from your mouth. The jury needs solid evidence to rule in your favor.

BOLD - I still found it a little unconvincing - They were waiting for this court case for 2 years. It was going to happen one day or another. If not 1 day intimation, it would've been 30, as they said. But you cannot get much done in 30 days either if you are completely unprepared for the case in first place. I can understand their surprise. But I cannot understand their complete laxity if their honor depended on it. But like Fivr said, it was nothing that I cannot overlook presently ... given that the other serials are pretty dud these days.

Amy - WORD on what you've said.

@LadyM : True, they have been lax. And I am not sure if they had submitted any documents to the committee before hand, which I assume is normally done. I am also not sure why they don't have a lawyer retained for it? Is it something I missed. Does Megha have any law training?

Regarding proof, I guess, she did start with the bank accounts and all the stuff that could be examined to determine if Amar was indeed a corrupt employee. But she was interrupted by the frustrated woman ( which I wouldn't be surprised was a plant by the builder,... just my conspiracy theory 😆)

Baaki, it is always over -simplified in a series. They are rushing through this to establish the reason why she is at this position and what she is up against. Sloppy but this is how they are approaching this.
