Just a point-it's what got me interested in the show for definite. Obviously in these dramas, especially from the promo we knew that "love at first sight" wouldn't exist.
At a certain point what the promo shows is what i expected-Khushi Kumari in the office and Arnav's indifference to her was understandable cause that's how the show started kind of.
What surprised me is where Khushi holds the photo against her chest. Infact, it was a shocker. Khushi is such a character who I don't think would ever demonstrate such show of emotion...but that's where I feel the show needs some character development on Khushi's part too. Rather than what just seems to be Arnav's. I love them both truly, I used to watch DMG, it's the first thing I've got into religiously every since that show finished.
Anyway, humble request/waake up call to the writers...time to carve the characters up a little more me thinkst.
The promo where Arnav break KKG's bike is definitely where the answer lies in my eyes.

Two contradicting beliefs coming head to head, they say opposites attract so the journey from the former to the latter is what this show should be and arguably is about! If one of them doesn't mellow down then there won't ever be any "pyar" between them and I'll just be sat thinking...eh is there anything even between them?
Constructive criticism is the way forward if any at all. I feel, admitedly, maybe they couldn't handle such an intense exposure with the whole Shyam storyline/it wasn't the right time etc so they brought in a very rushed proposal/acceptance regarding the payal and akash track...and so, they do need to get together and hit the nail on the head.
I have full faith in the CV's and after some slow development there will be a huge surprise in store, I can't believe some comments I've read expecting an apparent "generic" change of certain characters regarding personalities and such. It's the whole "complaining because I can" in my eyes. No character is black or white, the shades were depicted in the beginning and their development in the show is now becoming an issue.
Let's start making a list of all the pros of the show instead of focusing on the cons. The concept is why I watch and continue to watch it...not just cause of the pure beauty of the actors.
I also didn't realise the unrest in the forum. Keep it clean all! Just because you have a voice now and in this day and age the audience has come to have more of a say /an insight into the drama/actor's offscreen/professional news doesn't necessarily mean there has to be a personal attack on any aspect of their lives.
The demise of great shows has happened because of this before and we cannot let it happen again just because a certain "team" isn't happy.
The story is fictional. The disclaimer is there for a reason. Quit crying and ruining it for everyone else.
