in college, some were career oriented and studied for their CAT or CA,ICWA,ACS,etc some surfed po*n in their mobile phones, some were idle but fairly hardworking(like me),some went to the tea shops and smoked, some went to bars and drank, and one guy went to the beach and got oral sex from a prostitute. The life choices of the students are too diverse to determine whether they are adopting "bad things or not".

Based on my personal experiences, not all are adopting bad choices, but there is a good percentage of people adopting good and bad choices, and the percentage figures may differ depending on who you ask.

^ Adding to the post above me, didn't the previous generation or those before them make bad decisions when they were young? We're all humans, and it's in our nature to make mistakes, of course in your teen years your hormones go wild...and well, as they say, the rest is history. But as I was saying, it's not just this generation, times are evolving and with technology, and things such as drugs, alcohol and po*n so easily available it's easy to be influenced in the wrong direction. But that doesn't mean previous generations didn't make mistakes as children.

just the way that is easily available, so are sources of information and awareness, education, good, clean recreation, sports, music, art, etc. It still depends on the life choices. The infrastructure has made both kinds of activities more free, that's all.

I notice most kids are playing games on their computers if not some hand held device.
It seems to be a major problem, game addiction.

Don't adults overuse technology too? Yes, I guess it's more important for a child or a teenager to go out, but it's just as important for an adult. And as long as they're not doing anything bad, it's okay. I spend the majority of my free time on my laptop but I either read, write, and research on topics that interest me so really it's all up to the person and their individual choices.

There's no age for bad stuff, honestly. People of all shapes and sizes and ages have every credibility in the world to be shallow, insensitive, mean and life-destructive what with indulging in exactly the worst possible things at that point in time. The same people also have in them to do what's right and repel distraction.

Sadly, there's no such thing as 'bad stuff' in any part of the world anymore, let alone India which surprises me with most of its developments, whatsoever. Actually, people are just doing everybody else is doing, it's 'normal stuff' now. Select few happen to do the 'abnormal stuff', so that's that.
