"Some perspective for those who are mourning, dissing and indulging in any such extraneous extracurricular activities. Get a Reality Check on one show which had a Season 2 and had an offscreen couple as the lead:

Kitani Mohabbat Hai: Balaji. NDTV Imagine.January 19, 2009- September 25, 2009. Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season 2: 1st November 2010- May 2011.

So what happened between the two KMHs?

Karan: Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai paired with Veeru Sumana Das. Sony. October 6, 2009- February 24, 2010.

Krithika: Pyaar Ka Bandhan. Balaji. Sony TV. October 7, 2009- until KMH 2 (some other lead)."

Moral of the story: Endemol and Star Network have given some positive feelers. If we are insistent enough, we could get another season or another show with Gurti after say a gap year or even two. It all depends on how rationally you think, how much of trust you have in yourself beyond everything else and the time and space you can allot for a longer effort. It's your call.
