Banjo's transformation at Delhi

I was amazed at how good Banjo performed in Delhi. She usually looks unsure of herself and often didnt sing well. She not only sang well (prerecorded or not) but looked totally cool and confident. She and Sharib looked like they were having a blast. Her outfit was well put together as well. Her performance was exactly how a "jodi" singing in front of an audience should perform. The chemistry between Sharib and Banjo looked genuine and not "put on" as I often thought of Ujjaini's stage flirtations with Ash (too much "acting"). Sharib sang and performed well as usual.

They scored 7 three times in a row from Hariji! They have never (have they? very rarely if yes) got a 7 from Hariji, so, I'm attributing this to how Banjo stepped up to support Sharib better in Delhi. I also feel that after all the comments the judges got about them favoring UA, they are more careful and try not to look too partial.

I wonder if Lesliji not being there made the difference? May be he makes her nervous. Lesliji seem to prefer Ujjaini's style of stage show (flashy and put on) rather than the natural, restrained but entertaining stage show that Sharib-Banjo does.

Or is it the absence of Rohit Roy, the host who picked UA's side?

I think its coz BS is now feeling the heat of the finals. And with no celebrity judges to judge them, they may have been a little more relaxed.

I think LL absent made them relaxed. Also look sharib recover from illness. benjo was super too.

Banjo was at her best! (she looked great too!).Sharib, as usual, best of all!

My vote is for BS.

I can't count the last 2 performances as they were all prerecorded. So that has less importance to me and value. However, Banjoystna has improved, but is still lagging behind the other three in keeping her sur.

Anyway , BS have unique voices and have improved overall with their chemistry. I give them much credit for that.

I think 2 things helped Banjo perform better -

1. The songs were pre-recorded

2. The songs suit her style... if you recall she has sung all the fast, pacy songs pretty well.

You know what I love abt Banjo the most? How she can change her voice and sing so many different kinds of songs. Ujjaini's voice is too powerful, which ruins the mood of some songs. Way to go BS.
