😉I thought I would try a fanfac, here it goes:
Jai kept thinking about what he had told Bani "Yaad rakhne ke kuch liyak nahin tha!". He thought to himself why had he said that when all he could do every minute of the day was keep on remembering how it felt to put his arms around Bani and kiss her like she had never been kissed before. This was becoming too much for him, he had to stop himself from feeling this way. He thought to himself that everything would come to a crashing end if Bani ever found out about the Park Road incidient. So why even bother thinking about the "what if's?".
Jai picked up his phone and asked his lawyer, Mr. Sharma how the divorce document was coming along. Mr. Sharma told him that he would have it by tomorrowing evening. Jai said fine and then asked him to drop it off the walia mansion. Jai sighed a breath of relief. He would spare Bani from future torture by ending everything before it could begin.
Bani was downstairs talking with Dadiji. Dadiji asked Bani if she would be keeping a Karva Chauth Vrat tomorrow. Bani thought for a second or so and replied yes. This shocked Dadiji, and Bani answered Dadiji's question before Dadi could ask it. "Dadiji, Haqeeqat joh ve hoh, Aaj is pal Mr. Walia aur Mein Pati Patni hai isleeye Main yeh Karva Chauth ka vrat rakhoongi - - Mere aur Mr. Walia ke beech joh ve hoajaye, Mein khabie ve nahi chahoongi ke unke saath kuch bhura hoa. " Dadiji was very happy to know that even though the Jai and Bani were not really husband and wife Bani would still be keeping the Vrat for a beloved Jai.
Bani on the other hand was thinking that her mind, heart, body and soul has acknowledged Jai as her husband in every sense possible, come what may she would only want Jai to be happy and live long and prosper, keeping the Karva Chauth would help seal this. In Bani's mind there was no question that come tomorrow morning she would keep her first Karva Chauth dha vrat for the man she had lost her heart to.
While thinking to herself Bani walked into the dining room and started to lay the food on the table, at which point Jai entered and saw Bani. He told himself that she was the most beautiful woman Jai had ever seen and he couldn't believe that for a moment or two he and Bani had become one. How much he wanted to hug her and hold her again. Bani saw Jai and her heart skipped a beat, she feel her stomach excite as she saw Jai dressed in his business suit, she wanted nothing more than to be held by him again under the rays of the romantic moonlight and loose all inhibitions and....Bani snapped out of it - Jai thought of the whole incident as a mistake, and Bani would not allow herself to remind him of what happened...."aye nashta kar loa" and half smiled at Jai, who seemed to be rooted the spot. Jai walked forward and took his seat at the table. Bani was putting his food in his plate but all Jai could concentrate was on the smell of her hair and her skin. Eating breakfast like this was going to be hard. "Bani mere liya coffee lekar aao please...." Jai asked and Bani hurrid of to the kitchen, leaving Jai to close his eyes and take a brief moment to compose himself again. Jai quietly ate his breakfast and left for the office forgetting to tell Bani that the divorce lawyer would come by later with the paperwork to finalize their divorce.

PART 2:
Part 2
In the morning, Bani wakes and quickly goes to the washroom to change. Jai slowly wakes up to see that Bani has awaken so early and wonders if she is feeling okay. Jai gets out of bed and looks out the window and notices that it is beautiful day outside, he thinks to himself that he will ask Bani to lunch. While pondering over the idea of lunch with Bani, Bani emerges from the washroom. Jai looks at her and notices that she is wearing a real nice red colour saree. He looks at her from toe to head , he soon realises that he is just standing in their bedroom staring at Bani. Bani shyly smiles at Jai and moves infront of the mirror. Today since it is karva chauth she actually puts sindoor in her maang. Jai notices this and thinks to himself that Bani looks really nice like this, the red saree, the mangalsutar and mere naam ka sindoor in her maang. Jai smiles to himself. Bani tries to the dori of her sari but like normal cannot manage this. Jai notices this and as if by cue he slowly moves towards Bani. Bani sees Jai in the mirror and on cue she stops trying to tie the dori. Jai brushes her her aside, his fingers graze her neck sending warm shivers down Bani's body. Jai leans in closer and grabs either end of the doris and slowly ties them together all the while looking at Bani. Jai wants to lean in closer and kiss Bani again like he had done a few nights ago but decides not to as he is sure that one thing will lead to another and does not want to hurt Bani again. After tying the doris Jai steps back and Bani turns to face him. They just look into each others eyes, Bani wills Jai to hold her in his arms, she thinks to herself "mein tumarhi Patni hoon, mujhpe sirf tera hak hai, bahoon mein bharloa mujhe ik baar, bakee subh kuch bhool jayenge"…she sighs deeply knowing that Mr. Walia has made it clear that he is sorry that anything happened before. Jai thinks to himself how easy and normal it would be to hold Bani and pick her up, lay her on the bed and …..naiy…aisa kuch ve nahi hoa saktha…..Bani aur Mein …naiy…..
Bani quietly breaks the silences "Mr. Walia aap aaj ghar jaldey aa jao…." Jai says "teek hai koshish karoonga….." he thinks it's because the lawyer is coming to the house….Like a normal man he seems to have forgotten the fact that he has not told his wife yet. Jai quickly moves away and goes to the washroom.
Soon afterward everyone is having breakfast….when Jai notices that Bani is not there. "Dadiji, Bani kahan hein" Dadiji assuming that Jai knows about the karva chauth dah vrath tells Jai that Bani is in the Puja room doing Puja. Jai thinks to himself " Bani kyon yahan pe nahin he….bina bye kaha…..voh toh…mein ab kaisa jaon vahan…." After eating Jai gets up and leaves….he looks back a couple of times to see if Bani will come there and disappointed he leaves the mansion to go to work.
Bani hurries out of the mandir with Prasad for Jai and is told that he has already left….Bani is upset that he left without saying goodbye and taking his Prasad. Bani decides that she cannot worry about all of this….and this is one of the most important days of her life…her first karva chaut ka vrat. "Dadiji mujhe kiya kiya karne hai aaj….." Dadiji says, "beta mujhe aap ve nahi patta…..itna maloom hai kai ke kajol ne Shahrukh ke liye rakha tha vrat aur Suraj utne ke badh usne kuch ve nay khaya….chand nikhal ne takh……". "lekin Dadi suraj toh ab ut chukha hai…mein toh abh kuch ve nahi kah sakhtein…yeh din kaisa nikle gah….." Bani is now worried because she didn't even think of getting up early enough to eat something…she had no other way but to stay away from food the rest of the day.
In his office, Jai received a call from his lawyer "Mr. Walia voh kaagaz thiyaar hai….mein aapke ghar pe kabh aon?" Jai not wanting to answer this question says 6pm ke badh aajana…
"mr Walia, mujhe akar jaldee he ghar loatna hoagah….kiyun ke aaj karva chaut hai aur meri biwi mera intezaar kar rahi hoagie"
"teek hai"
Jai hangs up the phone and wonders that if things had worked out differently Roshni, Sonali, or Pia would have been keeping this vrat. It doesn't even dawn on him that Bani will even want to do this. Though before he carries on with his work he thinks again to himself….that all the women his life only Bani would have been capable to doing the vrat – if only she loved him.
Meanwhile at the Walia Mansion Bani is wondering around hungry. She thinks to herself it's all about control….it won't be long now….Mr. Walia will come home soon…and then he will feed my first bite and drink……she smiles to herself….and as she does so she feels an ache in her heart…oh how she wishes that Mr. Walia was infront of her .
The day progresses and it is soon 5pm….Bani tells Dadi that she is going upstairs and that when Mr. Walia comes home please send him to the roof. Dadiji smiles and says of course.
Bani goes upstairs and waits to see the moon. A few minutes later Dadi is running up and tells her that "radio mein khabhar aye hai ke aaj rath chand mushkil se disegah. Badal bahut hai. BAni tum kiya karogee."
Bani says "abhi toh paanch vaje hain….jab ve chand dise ga mein use dekh khar apne aakhen bandh kar loon gee aur us waqt khoaloon ge jab Mr. Walia mere samne honge…Please Mr. Walia ke aathe hoa aap unkoa upar bhejdena."…Dadiji smiles and is so happy that Bani knows how to do things without any effort. She goes downstairs and sits down and starts watching her tv show"Ghar Ek Mandir". She says to herself "aaj koi ache film nahin tv par…aur maine sunna he ki ek bahut dashing sa hero is show mein…chaloa use dekh lete hain….."
When Jai comes home the lawyer also pulls up at the same time…."ah mr. walia acha hua ke aap milgaye…..aap yahin se kagaaz lelo…aur kal office mein bhiwadeeygah." "teek hai…ab jaldee jao tumhari dharam patni aap ka inteezar kar rahi hoagie….." the lawyer rushes off.
Jai is so envious of home…and cannot believe that today it is the lawyer that is richer than him…for his wife is waiting for him.
Jai enter the house…and cannot see anyone around. Dadiji has become so engrossed in her show that she has forgotten about Jai and telling him where Bani is. Jai calls for Tony "Tony!"
Tony arrives "Je Sir."
"kahan hai sabh ke sabh"
"I'm sorry pata nahin….lekin maine dekha tah kai Mrs. Walia upar roof par".
"thank you"
Jai decides to go upstairs and give Bani the papers to sign…..he must get this over and done with.
He slowly walks up the stairs and looks around on top of the roof. He cannot see anyone. He calls out "Bani….tum kahan hoa……Tony toh kehra tha kai tum upar roof parh hoa"
"Bani……Bani"
Jai doesn't know what is going on……Where is Bani…..He turns to go downstairs and out of the corner of his eye he's see a red sari pallu on the floor….her turns around and see Bani lying on the floor unconscious……he runs to her and picks Bani up in his arms…"Bani kya hua…..aakhen kholo….please ankhen kholo….." Jai holds Bani tighter and goes towards the stairs…he takes her to their bedroom and lies her on the bed….he shouts for "koi hai…doctor bhulao…..pls. jaldee karo…doctor koa bhalo…." Jai is anxious he doesn't what is wrong with Bani….Tony tells Jai that the doctor will be there in minutes he is in the neighbourhood. Dadiji comes and see Bani on the bed with Jai holding her hands….."Jai Bani koa kiya hua……Yeh to tumhare upar intezaar kar rahee thee."
"Bani roof parh kiya kar rahi thee?"
"Voh chand ko dekh rahee the"
"magar kiyun"
"tumhare lambi umar ke liye….aaj karva chauth hai."
Jai is shocked at why Bani did this for him….After everything he has put her through….After he told her that everything between them was a mistake…….
Meanwhile, the doctor arrives…and tells everyone to leave the room….Jai tell the doctor "mein kahin nahin jaonga….Yeh meri Patni hai aur mein iske saath rahoonga……Doctor please Meri Bani koh teek kardhoh….please"
Part 3:
Part 3:
The doctor gives Jai a hopeful smile. He proceeds to check Bani stats. Notices her blood pressure is lower than normal. He asks jai what she ate the whole day.
J: Bani ne kuch nahi khaya...voh karva chauth ka vrat rakh rahee the mera liye...lekin mujhe kaam parh gaya tha...
Dr: Mr. Walia aap very lucky hoa, kis in times mein ve koi larki apna farz samajthee hai....
J: I know Dr.
Dr: Acha mein Mrs. Walia koi yeh thakath ka teeka laga doonga...aur thora sa paani ve ose pilana kee koshish karta hoon....
The dr. moves towards bani, when Jai suddenly realises that he should be the one to feed Bani and water or any type of food.....He asks the doctor:
J: teek hai agar mein osse paani pilana kee koshish karoon...
Dr: of course mr. walia...
Jai carefully hoists Bani up and moves behind her so that she is leaning against him...he takes the glass water and carefully puts it too her lips...bani slightly reacts and takes a little of sip of water.....Jai continues this and bani continues to take the sips of water from Jai's hands. After a while Jai puts the glass down and lays bani back on the bed. he moves to speak to the doctor...
J: Dr. aur kuch karna hai
Dr.: Nahin Mr. Walia mein khal subah aajaon ga...ik aur teeka lagana...agar in hosh aajaye toh inko zaroor thodee se roti woti deene ke koshish karna....
J: teek hai dr aur aapka bahut bahut shukriyah.
The doctor leaves. Jai looks back at bani...and moves outside their bedroom and speaks to the rest of the family.
J: Bani teek hoa jayegee. Thodi see kamzoaree he...lekin voh bhilkul teek hoa jayegee.
Ab aap sabh jao aur mein inke sath rahoonga....
Good night!
Jai turns around and moves back into their bedroom.
Shocking Roshini and Jigyasa and making them wonder what has come over Jai and why is he being so attentive.
When Jai goes inside Bani slightly opens her eyes...Jai smiles at her and Bani also very weakly smiles back. Jai moves to her side and brushes her hair away from her face....
J: bahut dharaya he tumne sabh koa....ab kuch math kaho, chup chap araam karo, subah bath karengai.
Bani slightly nods her head and closes her eyes again.
Jai lies down next to her carefully leaving enough space between them so that Bani is completely comfortable. However Jai does not go to sleep as he cannot stop looking at Bani, and trying to think why did he worry so much when he saw her lying on the ground....why did he feel the life drain out of him, why was he ready to destroy everything if something happened to Bani...he had never felt this way....and for the first time in his life Jai was scared to think of what type of power did bani have over him... he kept thinking about this as he drifted off to sleep.

PART 4:
Jai woke up. He didn't see Bani anywhere and began to worry. Bani was in no condition to be up and about. He slowly got out of bed and was about to leave the room to find her, when Bani came out of the washroom.
J:Bani tum teek ho?
B: jee…teek hoon, nahane koa jee karta tha……ab mein bilkul teek hoon.
J: Agar tum teek hoa, toh phir yeh batao tum kal rath kiya kar rahi thee?
B: I'm sorry. Mein nahin chathi the kai aap meri vajah see pareshan hoa. Mera bahut jee karta tha ki mein Karva Chuath ka Vrat rakhon. Rano aur Raashi rakh rahi thee…aur such bholon mera dil bahut kar rat ha…after all mein abhi tak aapkee patni hoon. Yeh mera haq hai.
J: Bani mein ….mera matlab ki tum aur mein….I mean haan yeh sach hai ki humara vaisa rishta hai joh shiyad humai malom nahin kai hum kaunse naam se bhulayen. Lekin rishtah toh hai….maine khabie nahin socha tha ki tum mere leeyai karva chuath ka vrat rakhon gee….anyways shukriyah….maph karo mein tume pehle paani yaan kahna nahin deh sakha….
B: maphi mat maango…aap nain mujhe mere pehla paani ka ghot dheya tha…remember doctor mujhe paani pehle pilane wala tha lekin aap nein mujhe pilaya….thank you.
Bani and Jai look into each other eyes….and for a few precious moments allowed themselves to be taken to a moment, place where only they exist and are in each other's arm….
Knock knock!
Dadee: Bani, Jai tum teek hoa…..Bani ab tumare haal kaisa hai….
Bani and Jai are bought back to real time.
Bani: Dadi mein teek hoon…..abhi aati hoon.
Bani slowly moves past Jai. Jai is futher mesmorized by Bani….her fresh smell makes him want to hold her in his arms and profess something….but he doesn't know what.
Jai thinks to himself what is this feeling I feel for Bani. She is only going outside this room, but I feel anxious…I want to hold her in my arms and never let her go. Why do I feel like this…and if this is what I think it might be…why have I never felt this way before…why did Roshni or Pia never make me feel likes this…why Bani? He then thought to himself should I have signed the divorce papers, afterall while signing he had felt as if his heart was getting ripped out. Jai then thought again, where r those divorce papers…."Divorce papers kahan hai….sochna para ga….shayid divorce ki zaroorat nahin…." Jai then had a memory of the first time he saw Bani and saw the determination and fire that he had grown to admire in her eyes….He then thought of the night of Sahil and Anu's engagement….He had really savoured every minute of what happened between Bani and himself. He then felt he wasn't ready to divorce, not yet, not until he realised what was this rishta between Bani and himself.

Bani meets Dadi outside and Dadi hugs Bani.
B: Dadi aap nein meri jaan bacha ley…..agar aap nein Mr. Walia koa nahin bathayia hotha kai mein upar unki wait kar rahi hoon vrat thorenin ke liye na jaana kiya hoa jaatha.
Dadi realises that Bani is under the impression that she had told Jai to go upstairs to Bani to break the Karva Chauth Vrat. She doesn't have the heart to tell Bani that she didn't even see Jai until he bought an unconscious Bani to the bedroom. But Dadi thought to herself how did Jai know that Bani was upstairs since she was the only one who knew that Bani was upstairs looking out for the moon.

Roshni got up from having her bed. She needed to get some fresh air. She walked over to the window. She sighed in frustration " Damn that Tony….abhi tak usne mera window nahin teek kiya"
Roshni decided to go up to the roof and feel the nice breeze on her skin. Before she left she shouted for Tony "Tony…..mera window teek karo….agar kisi koa fresh air chayee….toh kiya zarooori hai ke use bahar jaana pare"
Roshni made her way to the roof. She opened the door…and walked around the small path. She stretched and took in the fresh air….closed her eyes and then opened them again. When she opened them she saw in the corner some papers in a legal binder. She walked to towards the binder and thought to herself…."Jisne ye folder yahan pe penka hai bahut paagal hoa ga….legal documents koa itne stupid manner mein kaun loose karta hai"
Roshni opened the file and realised that she held divorce papers that were issued in the name of Jai Walia for Bani Walia. Furthermore, the divorce papers had been signed and dated for yesterday, Karva Chauth ka din.

Jai began to look around his bedroom, he wanted to find the half signed divorce papers. He wanted to shred them….if a divorce is what Bani and he needed he would arrange for it later….These legal things would not take any time. But first he had to sort whatever this thing was between Bani and himself. He couldn't find them anywhere and then he remembered that when he had gone to the roof he was holding them in his hands. When he turned around and saw Bani lying on the floor he remembered dropping the papers.
J: Yaad aya…talak kai kagzath roof pe hain…vahan par jaake lelon ga.
Jai made his way up to the roof and retraced his steps. Roshni was still on the roof and she saw Jai and hid behind a wall with the divorce papers in her hand. He looked around….and saw the spot where last night he had seen what he believed to be Bani's lifeless body. He remembered thinking that he could not loose Bani, not this way, hell not anyway. He was shocked at first and then remembered thinking that he will do anything in his power to see Bani open his eyes. Jai looked around again…but he couldn't see the papers anywhere…he was now worried, he didn't want the papers making their way to the wrong person, more specifically he didn't want Bani seeing them, he wasn't ready to end things until Bani and him figured out what was going on between them.
Where could the divorce papers? Jai left the roof to go to his study, he said out aloud "shayad divorce kai kagzath study mein hain…kisi ke dekhne se pehle use shred kardhoonga.

As Roshni made her way downstairs….she thought to herself for some reason Jai doesn't want Bani to see the divorce papers, but why? she also realised that this was the day she had to leave. She had promised Jai that after Raashi was married into the Walia household and settled she would leave the Walia house. She didn't want anything to ruin Raashi's happiness, but she couldn't leave behind a happy Jai and Bani, she had to do one last thing to hopefully separate them.
Bani approached the table and saw Bani and Dadi setting the table for the rest of the family.
Bani: ab sabh kuch teek hai…Dadi ab hum juice aur aloo kai paratha lekar aaye…Mr. Walia, Ranveer aur Raashi, Sahil aur Rano, Aditya Uncle koa bahut pasand hai.
Dadi: Bani, tum toh Jaanti hoa…Ranveer kuch bhi nahin kaya gah, agar tum nein banaya hai toh phir kiyon use bhulana…..absoas ke saath hai, lekin Ranveer nafrath karta hai tum kao.
Bani: Nahin Dadi, mujhe pura yakeen hai kai Raashi Ranveer kai jazbatho koa badal de gee….aap dekhna…Raashi mein itne gun hai ke voh Ranveer kai dil pigal dai gee….itna yakeen hai humari Raashi par.
Dadi laughed and made her way to the kitchen with Bani. Roshni kept wondering what Bani and Dadi were talking about, she had heard Raashi's name but did not know in what context…either way it didn't matter she was determined to light this one firework between Jai and Bani. She quickly moved to the table and placed the divorce papers on a plate where she would know that Bani would see them and quickly moved away.
Jai was coming down the stairs to have breakfast and he was still confused as to where he had placed the divorce papers…..and then he saw. The legal file in which the divorce papers were in were sitting on the dining table….He moved fast to get to them…but as he made his way to the table he saw that Bani and Dadi were closer to the table than he was.
Bani moved to the table and wondered why anyone would put some documents on a plate in such a careless manner. Bani picked up the legal file and opened it to see who it belonged to.
Jai saw Bani do this and stopped in his tracks…..Bani read the document heading and realised that it was a petition for a annulment between Jai Walia and Bani Walia. Worst still was the fact that Jai Walia had signed it with yesterday's date. It dawned on Bani that while she was keeping her first Karva Chaut Vrat for Mr. Walia, he was signing annulment papers….she raised her eyes from the papers and saw Mr. Walia standing there…..and with tears in her eyes walked towards him.
Bani: mujhe lagta hai kai yeh kagzath aap kai hein…..leejiyeh….
Bani handed the documents over to Mr. Walia, then bent her head and walked up the stairs to her bedroom….Mr. Walia didn't know what to do…as he looked at Bani walking away from him……
