| Kyunki Saas - OTS By Kkomal Seth & Gautam Seth Kyunki...! Yeh Generation Leap Hai Mumbai, June 06, 2006: On June 7, ?Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? will take yet another leap, ushering in the next Virani generation. The serial has been amongst the very few shows that has maintained a double digit TRP rating since the time it was launched to date. Incidentally, June 7th is also Ekta Kapoor?s birthday. Two years ago, the serial had taken the first leap introducing the 3rd generation of Virani Parivaar. Once again the serial will age by 20 years and will introduce to us the 4th generation of the Virani?s and also the new protagonist - the mischievous version of Tulsi, Krishna Tulsi, who is strongly rooted to her culture and family values and is characterized by her innocence, intelligence & her go-getter attitude. ?It is time Tulsi passes on the baton to the younger generation. I was very particular about what I wanted from the actor as it is a very important role that she, as Krishna Tulsi, will be playing and I am happy that I narrowed down to the best. I am quite sure she will do complete justice to the role,? says Ekta Kapoor. The serial introduces a mix of characters be it the religious, mischievous, sensitive Krishna (Lakshya), son of Sahil & Ganga or Nakul, who is bitter due to his non-wealthy status. Then there is also the leader Bhumi - a spoilt brat and a tomboy, who is the daughter of Tanya & Karan. We will now see Akashdeep Saighal (Ansh) come back as Eklavya where he plays Ansh?s son but in a positive role. The family mix completes with Manthan, son of Karan & Tanya, who like Meera and Mandira is shrewd, brooding and very manipulative. Living with this family is also the lovable and geek Joydeep, a distant relative to the family of Sahil?s family, now adopted by Sahil. |
