From being linked to Salman Khan to being insulted about her jaw displacement, Mahek Chahal has been hounded by such allegations ever since she entered 'Bigg Boss Season 5' house. However, the actress' brother has now come out in her support, saying all the rumours are 'false and baseless'.

'Obviously, all these rumours are false and baseless. They don't even make any sense and they sound funny to me,' Mahek's brother Vikramjit Chahal said in a statement.

'Mahek on her own will left Norway so that she could make a career for herself in Bollywood, 10 years ago. Even my elder sister has just left Norway to join Mahek in the finale of 'Bigg Boss' and I will be returning to the country on the final day myself.'

'All of it is just fake like the people spreading these rumours who can't mind their own business and let others live and be successful in life,' he added.

Mahek was voted out of the Colors reality show by her fellow inmates, but returned as a wild card entry. The show, which started off with 13 contestants, has now five inmates - Mahek, Amar Upadhyay, Aakashdeep Saigal, Juhi Parmar and Siddharth Bhardwaj competing for the prize money of Rs.10 million.
