That scene was definitely the absolute highlight of the episode!

When I was those scenes in today's episode all i could think was of that song from Biwi No. 1."haye haye mirchi...uff uff mirchi...teri leher buri...teri zeher buri...ladh gayi dil ko haaye haaye mirchi." Uday was the mirchi of the day for me. The fits today's situation right down to the background music. Uday gets really scary when he is mad, just fantastic. When he was looking at Manyata he gave her such cold looks that I thought he was going to freeze everyone in anger. Manyata gets mad she is a fire cracker but Uday has this icy anger that sends chills down a persons body and scare them to bones. They are perfect for eachother. Today's episode was blast as far as Uday is concerned.

so so so true! a part of me saw this as a sign that he's still a prince & not a total king yet ... that sign of youthful confidence and expectation that his plan would work. although, like griraj said, she's a tough cookie & he shouldn't be too confident.
