sorry for late update... I have a Phd entrance exam om 15th Jan followed by interview on 16th

Prem was thinking all the time about Manpreet and her relation with Maan. But the more he thought more he was confused, so he gave up and decided to ask Manpreet. On the last day after the dinner he took her out for a walk

P: Manpreet I am confused

MP: why? I mean did you not understand what the speaker said

P: I am not talking about the conference

MP: then

P: I am talking about you

MP: me???

P: yes

MP: you are confused because of me

P: yes

MP: why?

P: what is this between you and Maan?

MP: pardon

P: look, you got married to him but when I talk to him in fact to you also I don't find, oh how to make you understand

MP: wait let me tell you a story

P: story? No

MP: please

P: ok

MP: so, this is a story about 3 friends

P: 3 FRIENDS

MP: yes, 2 girls and a boy

P: ok

MP: I will call them G1, G2 and B, ok

P: um

MP: so, this G1 and B were cousins and this G1 was G2's classmate

P: um

MP: G1 and G2 were very good friends, and one day when G2 came to visit G1 she met B who was also of their age, and soon 3 of them rocked, later as time went these 3 became very good friends, even their families thought that someday B and G1 will fall in love and get married

P: this G1 is you

MP: let me finish

P: ok

MP: so time passed and in college G1 and G2 took admission in same college and met a boy B1 and this boy fell for G1 but she did not pay any attention to him, G2 thought may be because she was attracted to B that's why she does not notice him, now this B1 was obsessed with G1 so he befriended G2 to be with G1 and G1 and G2 were inseparable.

P: it's quite confusing, what about B

MP: now this B went to some other college and as years passed B met a girl G3 who was studying with her, he became quite friendly with her. But he was confused he compared her with G1 but she did not match her, but still he felt a strong attraction towards her. But he never told her, now this new girl was also attracted to him but he also knew that he had a friend G1 and mistook her as his GF.

P: it's very confusing

MP: concentrate, now meanwhile B's course was complete and G3 left for her town as she was a hosteller there. And on the other hand G2 eloped with B1. Now G1 and B were left so the family decided that they should get married as their education was complete, they thought for a while G1 was sure that she did not love B but B was confused about his feelings, still they said yes and finally one day they got married but

P: but

MP: but after their marriage G1 accidently crossed a boy B2 and lost her heart

P: what???

MP: yes, but she did not tell anyone, moreover that boy married

P: hell

MP: she decided to keep mum, but B saw her and knew it, on their wedding night he simply asked her who is he?

P: what?

MP: yes, G1 and B have been friends since always they could read each other inside out,

P: she told him

MP: yes she told him everything

P: and

MP: they silently went to the lawyers next day and told them everything and after a little bit of formalities they had their marriage legally annulled

P: you mean like they were never married

MP: yes

P: what did their family say?

MP: they did not tell them but as time passed they gradually told them every thing

P: they might have been angry

MP: no, no one was, rather they were amused that still both of them live in a same house, but this is it

P: so that girl is you

MP: no, that boy is me and that girl is Maan

P: so it was Maan who met some one

MP: um

P: that G2 and B1 are Yash and his wife

MP: um

P: and that boy I mean you are the one who is in love with your classmate

MP: um

P: and that classmate is accidently me

MP: (silence)

P: tell me Manpreet, is it me or am I just assuming?

MP: silence

P: ok so I take that it is someone else, but who

MP: ???

P: let me guess

MP: Prem

P: um, I am thinking

MP: G3 is Prem

P: but how is it possible I am not a girl

MP (slapping his arm): will I be in love with a girl?

P: I don't know, may be

MP (hitting him hard): PREM!!

P: ouch, it hurts, mummy help

MP (shocked): what was that?

P: I am a girl and girls say it like this

MP: Prem (turned to leave)

P (holds her wrist): I love you Manpreet

MP (turns back): thank you

P: is it what you say when someone says ILU

MP: how will I know what to say? I am inexperienced

P: ohh!!, let me tell you, rather show you how you should reply (pulls her)

MP: Prem (he seals her lips)
