You named the chapter perfectly : "Expose" !

I am loving this sense of enhanced consciousness between the two - hating the solitude even for a few moments, seeking each other's company even when they are aware of the flashes of attraction.

I specially loved these lines

"he reminded her of school kids when tag teamed went everywhere together and did everything as if they were joined at the hip"

Maan's character shines through in his effort to keep his "vile" thoughts at bay and never toy with her emotions. I guess that comes from the fact that they have shared the same pain and he wouldnt like his own emotions to be toyed !

I love it how he keeps minutely observing her - the result of his growing attraction.. and how it her reaction to him came as a shock to her ...

So what happens now that they both know their effects on the other?

Americans...why is everything opposite for you people? I saw the 01 and assumed you updated on the first of Jan...and this was a old update. Only when I looked again did I realise it mentioned the third.

You know, am just glad he got it over and done with...well partly, if not giving their relation 'a name' at least they've acknowledged they feel something for each other. Though even I'm starting to wonder what that really is...they seem to enjoy each others company, but that's it...well for now. I guess a relationship is like a flower, it can either blossom into something for beautiful or just whither away.

I'm just rambling...saying stuff like that really doesn't suit me 😆😆

Edit: Ooh...this was 33rd post...I love palindromic numbers 😆

Aren't all relationships based on necessity and they make life so simple for us but we underestimate their importance. Maan proposes a open relationship, and I don't blame Geet if she has fears on such monogamous relationship! I question, why would she want to go into such relationship?

Expose was the previous chapter. Was this "exposed"?

I agree with your observations on relationships and male dominant society but in this case is that what Maan is proposing? I thought he was simply giving them a time-out type of an option where they could get to know each other without giving it a name. Neither of them are ready to jump into anything and he probably does not want it to be mere friendship given how aware they are of each other. There are no strings to tie them which in my mind gives her a sense of freedom to not to be obliged to his pursuit. He wanted to ease her mind.

Hummm. I am a bit surprised that Maan spoke openly about his feelings (although put across more like affection) so soon. Yes, both of them felt a pull towards each other, but they are still just getting over their baggage's from their previous relationships. I thought that they might need some more time... this came as a pleasant surprise.

I admire Geet's reaction to his confession as well as Maan;s thoughtfulness to leave her alone. Although Maan acknowledged that he feels good being with her, it was just that. There was no suggestion that this had to lead anywhere else. And he having gotten over his relationship in stages is bound to feel little less awkward about his current feelings. But for Geet, it is way too early and her uncertainty about what she feels for Maan at the moment is expected. And he confusion about what to do about it is inevitable.

It all makes great sense 😃

But I am like many others surprised about the name for this update.

I agree with your definition of a relationship but here they are two shattered people who can only take tentative steps to each other if all goes well. When someone is shattered like that they are afraid to be part of a couple or be in a relationship, hence that void period until you get acceptance is awkward, esp for someone who is hurt. Here Maan is easing her mind so that she does not feel any force or pressure from him. This is what I love about Hasini's Maans, they are intelligent creatures who know their boundaries and will not rush in without being connected emotionally as well. Love discussing with you Aarya. 😲 Wow!!! I thought cause of the baggage that they carry with their past, both of them would be a little reluctant to acknowledge the pull that they have towards each other but Maan here totally surprised me... i'm really keen to see what Geet has in her mind now... What suprised me the most was that despite of knowing the reasons for Geet's break up he still went ahead and proposed an open relationship... (guess thats what he did 😉)

I enjoyed reading it Hasini... And keenly waiting for the next part... update as soon as you can please
