Maan is scared for Geet. Geet tells Maan not to add Handa to her name as she is not a part of her family anymore. Brij overhears this and is determined to kill her as she has spoilt the family name. Brij notices Arjun and Anvesha falling in love. Maan is angry to see Arjun in the office. Anvesha informs Maan that she is throwing a New Year's party. Maan warns Anvesha to stay away from Arjun. Pinky forces Geet to go home and get ready for the party in the evening. Maan overhears Arjun talking to Naintara on the phone and gets suspicious. Maan doubts Arjun to be the man whose shadow he saw outside Geet's room. Anvesha asks Geet the reason why Maan hates Arjun. Geet tells Anvesha that Arjun is Naintara's brother but is not as bad as her. Maan makes a prank call to Geet in front of Arjun and tells her to go to a mall alone. He wants to see Arjun's reaction. Brij overhears this. Maan arrives at the mall. He sees Arjun entering the mall and follows him. He doesn't notice Brij, who is also entering the mall.
