Lord Krishna Ganesh and CB current track

There is yet another popular legend associated with Ganesh Chaturthi, arising from Skanda Purana. It goes that once Ganesha was invited for a feast in Chandralok. He ate many Ladoos and later, as he got up to walk after the meal, he could not balance himself, because of his huge stomach, and slipped. His stomach burst and all the laddoos came rolling out. Seeing this, the moon could not control himself and began laughing. Ganesha got angry and cursed the moon that it will vanish from the universe.

Because of moon's absence, the whole world began to wane. The gods asked Lord Shiva to get Ganesha to change his mind. The moon also apologized for his misbehavior. Finally, Ganesha modified his curse saying that the moon would be invisible on only one day of a month and would be partially seen on Ganesha Chaturthi. He also added that anyone who watches moon on Ganesha Chaturthi would face a false accusation. This is the reason why, even today, it is considered inauspicious to look at the moon on Ganesh Chaturthi.

Krishna and Lord Ganesh

It is said that anyone who looks at the moon on the night of Ganesh Chathurthi will be falsely accused. If someone inadvertently sees the moon on this night, he or she may remedy the situation by listening to the storey of the syamantaka mani found in the Puranas. The story is that Satrajit had secured a jewel from Lord Sun. When Lord Krishna asked for it, saying it would be safe with him, Satrajit refused to give it. Prasena's brother Satrajit went out hunting wearing the jewel but was killed by lion. Jambavant, the Ram Bhakt, killed the lion and gave the jewel to his son to play with. When Prasena did not return, Satrajit falsely accused Lord Krishna of killing Prasena for the same of the jewel. He set out in search of the jewel. He found it in Jambavat's cave, with his child. Jambavat attacked Lord Krishna thinking him to be an intruder who had come to take away the jewel. They fought each other for 28 days. Jambavat was weakened from the hammering of Krishna's fists. He finally recognized Him as Lord Rama. Jamavat repented that he had fought with the Lord. He gave the jewel to Krishna. He also gave his daughter Jambavati in marriage to him. Lord Krishna returned to Dwaraka with Jambavati and the jewel and returned the jewel to Satrajit. He promptly offered to give Krishna the jewel and his daughter Satyabhama in marriage. Krishna accepted Satyabhama as his wife but did not accept the jewel


Relation to CB

When Lord Krishna could not save himself from bad name because of the curse and when he could save himself he told a way to escape this curse was to do Ganesh puja and listen to this story and take the blessings of God Ganesh and then nothing will happen to them lord Krishna also took precaution not to see the moon but he saw it while he was milking the cow it was reflected in the container containing the milk and he knew he will have a bad name.

So despite taking precautions Kanha will face some hurdles as the story has to stretch before he finally controls and weakens the devil VN but then there will be lots of drama nothing to do with the story given above we will see CVs drama

Every Ganesh festival we listen to this and somehow when I saw the episode I was reminded of this aspect of the Lord Krishna story and how faced the bad name and how he gave a solution to all so that all can escape the curse of the moon on that day.

There will be many hurdles as the cv's will want to stretch the story as long as possible and we will all forget about RaDev love story that it even existed once upon a time.

Thanks for rreminding di, and yeah today also many people believe it including me. But di that was the curse givej by god and chandrama was also considered to be a god, so no prob. there Kanha took precautions from good, but its here is evil di, do u think its apt in comparing both.
