He exists in d world of fiction yet d real world ladies r ready to die for him. His 1 gaze makes makes millions of female heart stops, his arrogance make ladies go crazy, his english one liners made a mark in hundreds of female minds n will remain there forever.

Wat he is? A fiction character. Beyond reality, he stays in a world our dreams stay.

He is arrogant, rich n self centered bcoz of his past. Now this is I wanna discuss. He has a past due to which he is dead to ne kind of emotions. If he feels smthg, dat is his di.If we forget abt his richness n his aura of ASR n just look d inner ASR, d rude ASR, d ASR wid no heart for ne1 but di. Just see inner qualities of ASR. (plz see ASR not ARNAV).

DO U THINK N FEEL SUCH CHARACTER EXIST IN REAL LIFE WHO IS DEAD TO NE EMOTION N REACT ONLY TO FEW? AGAIN I AM NOT TALKING ABT MAN OR WOMAN, RICH OR POOR, GUD LOOKING OR NORMAL LOOKING, WAT I AM DISCUSSING IS HIS BHAVIOR TOWARDS WORLD?

I'm guessing no because I think arnavs character is extended a bit but I 75% think people personality like arnav don't exist

But I maybe wrong?

Firstly, please could u refrain from using Caps Lock in ur post as its against IF rules becos its considered shouting/yelling across the forum.

Now, back 2 ur discussion topic...great topic 2 start of with...however i dont think ASR is dead to any kind of emotion becos if he was he wudnt hav tht beautiful relationship he has with his sister. Someone that cares n loves his sis as much as Arnav does surely can;t be labelled as sum1 dead to any kind of emotion. the way i've analysed Arnav is tht he is a complex character, his haunted past has wounded him in such a way tht he chooses nt 2 gt close 2 ne1...he tries 2 show his cold n arrogant side so no1 comes near him...mayb the fear of being hurt if they leave him...mayb he was hurt so badly tht he has decided he doesnt want 2 fall n b hurt agen hence the cold arrogant side works as a front 2 avoid ne1 cumin close 2 him. i personally feel der r ppl like tht in da world, mayb nt 100% like ASR bt to some extent they do hav such behaviour traits in them...sum ppl do find it dif 2 communicate der feelings 2 others hence r reserved n keep their inner feelings 2 themselves. arnav is like tht 2...der r very few ppl he wil actually open up2 n evn 2 thm he doesnt open up completely... i.e. his own sis n khushi r 2 ppl i feel r able 2 genuinely understand arnav n he wil turn 2 thm esp his sis bt evn 2 her he doesnt open up completely... n tht does happen 2 sum ppl...infact 2 every1 becos i dnt think der is any1 in this world tht has shared their every little/big feeling with sum1 else...ders always some things u wil not open up abt no matter hw close u r...so 2 sum extent i wud say Arnav's character is real...bt mayb nt completely...

well if i tell you the truth this kind of persons of course exists .. the dramas are obviously inspired from real life only! but the only thing works here that we dont get to meet them in real life..we dont see this characters in real life but they DO exists! but only thing is that in real life there is no khushi in real life who can change ASR! in fact in real life we prefer to hate them rather that understanding them..thts the only difference!

First of all sorry for using caps. Actually I am typing frm mobile n its hard to gv different color to sm selected txt so I used caps. No intention of shouting or yelling.

Secondly I said dat he is dead to emotions to others but di. To a certain extent I agree wid u dat he is not emotionless but he is a master in hiding his emotions bcoz he is scared of getting hurt. But certain adverse circumstances in life can turn a person to ASR who pretend to b dead to emotions n react only to few. Dat's wat I blieve in.

100% agree tashu ppl like him do exist in real world but we don't entertain such ppl n prefer to hate dem dan understanding dem.

Characters like him completely exist in real life - he has a tragic past, and that changed him a lot, perhaps for the worse.

Except in real life, people with all these issues aren't usually as good looking as ASR is.

(Also, as a side note, I'm a big fan of SRK and in his interviews, especially the one with Koffee with Karan, he talks about after his parents' death, he finds it difficult to make and keep friends. He only gets along with a few people, i.e. his wife Gauri and he loves his children. So, in a way, ASR kind of reminds me of SRK, in that he has a horrible past, is a lonely and closed off person because of it, and only loves and holds dear a very few number of people)

I agree with others who have replied here...such people do exist in real life. People who are not attuned to others feelings except who are very close to them...people who do not interact or get too close with others except a chosen few. This could be because they are reserved by nature or because of life experiences..

For me its the serious most topic..so no jokes here
I already mentioned previously in diff threads that ppl like ASR do exist ..they hav troubled past. complex nature..reserved in character..cant express emotions easily but once they love they are so scared to lose that love..n i have known such a person for 9 years now..only that he is not that ghusse wala as ASR.

plus he has changed a lot...becoz of me ofcourse..coz i m exact opposite..n bubbly n naughty..for which I keep getting scoldings to grow up from my hubby 😉 also for goofing things up..

i always understand ASR behavior..coz i can see throigh it..n so does KKG. now u lnow y I instantly fell in love with ipkknd..only that my hubby is not that rich...n ours is arraged marriage..no love hate thing happened.

i loved ur topic rashmi...ppl like Asr do exist..they are complex..but have a Golden heart..they love n take care of the loved ones utmost..cant stamd tears..also they change...but not completely...u made me emotional with ur topic..n i cannot write further...e..now I m missong him...i ,ll call him...but blv me Asr's do exist for real...only a bit diff here n there...
