I am curious and want to know..

HOW TV ACTORS ARE GETTING PAID??

Is it monthly?
Is it the entire serial period..one lot u signed like they sign film for 2 crores?
Is it paid per episode??

How there pay is decided???
What they look for??
Leads get highest pay?
ETCCC

Plz enlighten me??😊

its a pay per hour.

at least in New York because i got paid $400 for an hour.

I heard its per episode. I don't know much Barun or Sanaya get but I am kinda sure about the per episode thing. That's how it is in India.

Per episode?? ..How the caliber works??
If the actor has only 1 minute share in one episode...
if actor has 10 minutes shore in one episode..

Both get paid equally??

It is usually per episode .

I am talking about Kyunki - KTH days. (5-7 years back) Normal average payment was 30,000-40,000 per episode . But stars like Smriti Irani /Ronit Roy could call for 100,000 at the time. Very popular stars who could ensure TRP mostly got around 50,000.

I dont know how much are they paid now .

I think Amitabh Bachchan is the only one who gets in crores . 2-3 crores per seson .

I know for sure that all daily soap actors get paid per day.
I believe lead actors get paid in the range of Rs. 20,000 - 50,000 per day -
Supporting actors' range is Rs. 10,000 - 20,000. I have some close personal
friends who are daily soap actors and that is how I know this information.

I dont think it makes a difference whether your screen time is 1 minute or 20 minutes. Still you have to come , get ready , get make up , do rehearsals, wait with other actors and may be due to fault of another actor you may have to repeat your shoot several times .

For the uninitiated - Smriti Irani played the role of Tulsi - the ultimate Bahu-cum -saas of TV and Ronit Roy was Mihir ( Tulsi's husband) and Mr. Bajaj at the same time . They were the highest paid actors of TV
