Blistex announces ‘India’s Most Beautiful

The votes will be in and the winners will be smiling. This year's leading lips will make us laugh and swoon; they will cause us to dance and cheer. They will inspire us and make us a little hungry.

Hold your breath! Now in its 19th year, the 'World's Most popular Lips'programme that allows the Lipcare specialists at Blistex to honour some of the year's most lip-worthy achievers and notables now makes its debut in India where the Indian celebrities- (Men & Women) would be recognized along the international lines, as followed by Blistex Inc, USA.

Blistex Inc, USA in association with Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has announced the search for 'India's Most Beautiful Lips-2005'.

The search begins with a panel of judges short listing the names from over 200 celebrities in India and then the contest begins for 'India's Most Beautiful Lips' where the public would vote across both male and female categories.

In India this award is being initiated for the first time. For the first year, the category would be restricted to 'Most Beautiful Lips' but later the category would be expanded to cover many of 99 categories, that Blistex recognizes worldwide, said Dr.Anuj Saxena, Director, Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Addressing the Press, Mr.David Arch, Chairman, Blistex Inc.USA said Blistex 'World Most Popular Lips' awards are extremely popular worldwide.

Given the importance of Indian market and its size, we are bringing the same to Indian market. We hope that the 'India's Most Beautiful Lips' will excel in popularity and would help in creating awareness about lip care.
