Manish Rai Singhania is in news these days. For many reasons. One of them being cast opposite balika vadhu Avika Gor in Sasural Simar Ka. Understandably, Singhania is all excited about this. "Don't you dare call her a child artiste! She will kill you. Avika is a young lady and she is truly a pleasure to work and interact with. But I must admit that when I was first informed that she would be opposite me, I was shocked. I had never met her and somehow the image of the little girl in Balika Vadhu was overpowering," he says. So surprised was the actor that he actually asked the production house about Avika's age. When he was told that Avika is 14 years old, Singhani's reaction was that she is less than half his age! "Then I was informed that she is no longer the baby Avika and is a grown up girl now! When I met her, I was completely convinced that she is no longer a child artiste. She has matured in every aspect and is a fantastic actress. She even tells me every now and then – 'Manish, grow up!'! We have become good friends now. It is a real pleasure working with her," says Manish.

I agree with Aditii ...Avika is too young to play such roles...this serial would have so much good with a relatively mature actress...I love Avika so much , but in this show she is totally a miscast...

Morover, seeing what a sham in-laws are made out to be - how will she ever want to respect any relationships when she actually gets to that age in her own life ?

yes come out please that avika is a child of balika vadhu she is grown up now please accept the fact and she is doing very well in ssk 14year girls can do anything now days and she is just doing the acting in real life also too many love stories like that foe exampel superhit off screen and on screen jodi of dilip kumar and syra banu. in tv serial also BANDINI (RONIT ROY AND ASIYA KAZI )DHARMRAJ AND SANTU U FORGET AUR WHAT in ssk atleast they are playing young coupels and AVIKA AND MANISH are doing good job so please forget balika vadhu just see avika and manish ROSID ROCKS.

😆grow up people she is just acting why some people make that so serious?looked like those people dont let her grow.ok balika badhu gehna's husband was her dad age what about that?bandini lead pair ronit roy plays ayeshas husband and his son love ayesha's older sister.do you people forget about it ?isnt that sick ?if those couple not odd then why avika n manish is odd?even now i saw that golden patel award and surprise to see that both of anandi looked same age / avika looked more older then pratyusha so why complaining?this is just drama and in drama she is 18 just forget about her real age.in SSK she is marry sid not in her real life come on people get a life.if you dont like then dont watch.i think people still think she is choti anandi and they still think her as a anadi.thats why they just say ohh no she is 14 she is too young .😡 dont worry avika and manish we love you 😃
