Sonali.. what can I say it was an excellent chapter thoroughly enjoyed it.. I could actually picture the sequences taking place.. Just loved UV especially him proclaiming he would always stand by her..😳.. So cute.. as usual I loved the ending and the rain sequence (had to mention that one 😆).. I can't wait for more.. !!

btw the VM was lovely as well..! 😊

Part Nineteen

Manyata walked into the courtyard. Udayveer was on the loveseat swing waiting for her. He got up and stood there admiring her as she came closer. She smiled brightly at him.

"Udayveer aap yahaan?," she inquired.

He smiled and shook his head.

"Anjaan mat bano princess. You know why I am here," he stated.

"You saved my life again. I remember when you brought me here two months ago. I thought you were going to just take advantage of me," she said.

He caressed her cheeks and then cupped her chin.

"Ab kya lagta hai?," he said huskily.

She tried to move away to hide her blush.

"Mujhe lagta hain ki aap ko pyaar hogaya hai," she whispered.

Udayveer smiled.

He held her by her arms.

"Do you love me?," he inquired.

She smiled slightly.

"Woh toh pata nahin, lekin aap mujhe pasand aane wale ho," she admitted.

"Do me a favor and never lose your spiciness. I love that about you," he hissed.

"Tu bole na," she said.

"Pelhe ek kiss deni hai aap ko mujhe," he insisted.

She smiled warmly and leaned over and kissed his cheek. He chuckled. He stood back and said," I love you Rajkumari Manyata will you marry me?"

She nodded affirming her answer.

He caressed her hair. This time she let him run his fingers throw her damp locks. He pressed a kiss on her forehead.

Dadisa slept in Manyata's room to watch over her that night. Manyata fell asleep with a smile on her face.

She found a trench coat and one of her father's old pipes. She grabbed one of Vijay's cowboy hats. She paced outside in the hall with her ensemble. She also wore those large sunglasses.

Meneka came out of her room and was shocked to see Manyata dressed like that.

"I hope you aren't going outside like that!," she stated disgusted.

Manyata blew into the pipe.

"Hmm guess you feel no guilt. Buaji don't you understand I have no idea of this wealth and power stuff. Why do you think I would take everything and leave nothing for you and the other family members? I have been away a long time and yet I seem to have more regard for this family than you ever did," she declared. She puffed some air in her direction.

Meneka coughed and frowned at her.

"Why did you let us stay here when you were going to treat us this way anyway?,"Meneka inquired.

Manyata smiled.

"Buaji, there isn't any smoke. Why are you worried? You won't die if I puffed some air on you," she quipped.

"Princesses don't smoke pipes. Isn't that your father's? That hat is Vijay's. Goodness knows where you found that trench coat. Go wear something more appropriate and give your father his pipe back," Meneka ordered.

Manyata giggled.

"Tum bas pagal ho! Thank goodness you aren't my daughter! Poor Komal, she waited for sixteen years for you!," Meneka snickered.

Manyata winked.

"Everyone including Vijay knows I was worth the wait,"Manyata said before strutting away.

Meneka rolled her eyes and headed towards the library. Manyata was strolling around near J Nandini's room when her sister pulled her in the room.

"Hey my sweet little sister. I have to thank 'you for your help last night. I really thought it would end badly but you saved the day,"Manyata declared.

J Nandini looked at her sister up and down.

She took the hat off her head.

"Manyata jiji what is wrong with you? Why are you going around dressed like this? I thought you had changed," J Nandini stated.

"Hey give me the hat back. I want Vijay to fight with me,"Manyata said.

"Kya?," her siste exclaimed.

"Yes dear. I want that weird fellow to feel the way he made me feel when I first came here. Brothers are supposed to help their sisters not cause harm to them. It's time he learned to behave like a rajkumar,"Manyata declared.

"Manyata I really think you are not well. Let me call Doctor uncle , he needs to evaluate you right away," J Nandini said reaching for her phone.

"Nahin,"Manyata said firmly.

"Lekin kyun?," J Nandini said.

Just then Vijay arrived in the room. He stiffened upon seeing Manyata wearing his hat again.

"What are you trying to be? It's not even Halloween darling," he hissed.

Manyata looked at him fierely.

She turned angry and started sizing him up. Vijay flinched and tried to back up. She simply came closer.

" You are a black mark on all brothers. Shame on you!," she hissed.

Vijay literally looked scared.

" I did forgive you but it doesn't mean I like you. Of course you know I am a jungle queen. Do you understand how far I can go to make your life miserable? It is better for you to go with your mother back to your house," Manyata declared.

J Nandini was stunned at her sister's sudden strange behavior.

She called Doctor Sahab.

"Hello Doctor Sahab, it looks like Manyata Jiji has suffered some brain damage. She has resorted to her old behavior. Please bring everyone to my room quickly. She might hurt Vijay," J Nandini stated.

She looked back at her sister and their cousin.

"How did you know we called you jungle queen?," he stammered.

"Arre oh lulu! Mujhe sab ki khabar hoti hai. I even know you made up a jingle to go along with it. Also I hear that you even came up with a tonic,"Manyata hissed.

"Vijay be aware she sings and sleepwalks, don't encourage her," J Nandini called out.

Everyone burst into the room.

Brijraj took the pipe from her hand.

"Manyata what are you doing with my pipe?," he asked.

"Oh hi Dad,"Manyata said before turning back to Vijay.

"Manyata beta. Kya hua? Why are you behaving this way?," Komal asked concerned.

Vijay hid behind Dadisa.

Dadisa smiled knowlingly and moved away.

"What a coward! I can't believe you just hid behind a woman!," Manyata said.

Vijay looked at her with daggers.

"Kaisa ladka hain iss ghar mein," Manyata muttered.

She took off the sunglasses and placed them on Vijay. She took his hat and put it on his head. She smacked it as she walked out of the room. Everyone stared after her in surprise.

At dinner time, everyone gathered around the table. Manyata came over quietly and sat down in her seat.

Vijay mouthed,"Just kill me!"

J Nandini narrowed her eyes at him.

Everyone else was wondering to see if Manyata would act up.

Manyata ate with full manners and was quiet. Everyone exchanged looks.

"Ab sub mujhe aise kyun dek re ho?,"Manyata inquired as she wiped her mouth.

"Kuch nahin beta. We were just concerned about your behavior earlier. Are you feeling better now?," Dadisa inquired.

"Jee Dadisa,"Manyata said calmly as if the afternoon events didn't happen.

"Chalo everyone please continue with the meal," Dadisa said firmly.

Everyone went back to eating.

After dinner , Manyata decided to skip dessert. Komal found this strange.

She went to see Manyata afterwards," Beta tum theek toh ho?,"

"Jee Ma. I just didn't have room for dessert," she said trying not to falter.

" You have been through a lot beta. Thank God you are all right despite everything. Your heart and mind are pure that's why I don't need to worry about you," she said warmly.

Manyata squeezed her mother's hand assurlingly.

"Aap ka haath mere sar pe upar ho toh mujhe ko darr nahin," she said to her mother.

Komal hugged her and wished her good night.

Udayveer called her the next day.

"Manyata some of my friends from London want to meet you. They are coming to the hotel for a get together. Be ready at 8pm, I will come get you," he stated.

She frowned.

" They are educated and I am not. They will make fun of me," she said.

Udayveer sighed.

"Manyata you are no less than them. In fact you could beat several educated people in whatever comes your way. You aren't afraid of anything, that is what makes you so irresistible," he said.

Manyata rolled her eyes.

"Dekho stop flirting with me and buttering me up. I'll come to the party but I will leave when I feel bored ok?," she said.

"Whoah! Theek hai Manyata jaise tum chao. I won't stop you," he said.

"Haha. Just try to stop me," she hissed.

Udayveer raised his eyebrows. Manyata was in jungli mode today.

"Ek second Udayveer. I am sorry. Mera mood off hai," Manyata said.

"Koi baat nahin. Huhme mirchi pasand hai princess," he said with glee.

She relaxed at his comment. In fact she was anxious about meeting his friends but now she felt like she could deal with anything that came her way.

"Just warn them about me. They shouldn't expect me to be anything like other modern styled girls,"Manyata said.

"Consider it done," Udayveer said.

They hung up the phone. Manyata smiled.
