As usual, I find one of the FEW sane posts of the forum here! 🤗 to EVERYONE who posted here ... seriously, I LOVE YOU ALL!!! 🤗🤗🤗

After ages I watched the episode without reading the LU's ... enjoyed it thoroughly, loved Khushi, Arnav and NK and came to the forum expecting rave reviews ... oh boy!!!!!! was I mistaken!!!

Zu, I LOVE your post ... have you echoed my thoughts or what ... the only part I felt Khushi out of place was the part where she introduced her dance after the Thai dance ... she could have been more graceful there .. for the rest I loved it, especially the Arhi talk ... for once, she heard him out, he heard her out ... they actually stopped and waited in silence ... backs to each other ...

And I SO agree ... people all talk about wanting something different, yet the moment we have a truly fiesty fiery heroine who doesn't take crap and sits in a corner to shed silent tears, but instead dishes it out right back, she is abused and bashed ... she is not sanskaari, she is cheap, she danced wth a STRANGE MAN in a party filled with guests and friends of her jeejaji, she put her hand on his shoulder ... HAWWW ... how cheap she is!!!! Jeezzz, gimme a break!!!

Shwets, agree with you completely too!!!

Just want to add ... my take on the cocktail party - it would have been great as a party for business associates, but I think that's exactly what the cv's were trying to show ... that Arnav has NO CLUE HOW TO throw a casual party just for enjoyment ... he's never done it! Also, when you have a guest of honor at a party, two cardinal rules - the guest list is of their choice, and the first priority is to make them feel comfortable - the rest all comes later. Payal was the only stranger here - the first priority was to make HER feel comfortable.

And I agree with Zu again, the way the drinks and sweets were served was as part of the menu, it wasn't done in a way to show Arnav down ... I agree with Sari that the dance was to get under Arnav's skin all right ... and good for her ... you go girl!!! And I didn't find anything either in her sari or her dance cheap at all ... she danced really well, and so did NK ... I enjoyed the dance thoroughly.
When Khushi danced at a dhaba in public, no one had any issues, why the issues now? And the dance was put in for entertainment ... it totally served its purpose for me ... I enjoyed it thoroughly.

My thoughts exactly! My interest in the show was waning but the last 2 days have been excellent! I have been so surprised by everyone's reaction and I'm beginning to wonder if we are all watching the same show. Am I reading this all wrong?

I have seen all those sanskari shows and dutiful perfect bahu's who cry gallons and waive a magic wand to make things right. I am bored of it coz I have tried all their tricks & I never get it rightHere is a girl who comes up with out of the box ideas to entertain us, why are we complaining? 😕 The show never touted a perfect Khushi, she was always wacko & so was ASR. They compliment each other & it's like I'm a watching a jugulbandi of sorts. Kabhi she has the winner, kabhi it's him. I am enjoying it, a well spent half hour!

@Bold ... BINGO!!!! As long as Khushi sheds tears quietly at Arnav's harsh words and tolerates them, she is perfect, the moment she fires back, she is not sanskaari??? For once we have a heroine who actually stands up and gives it right back to a hero who admittedly IS flawed ... and no one can take it? So that means everyone who cries for change and for strong heroines is just talking for the sake of it ... when push comes to shove, you want the same quiet silent sacrificing Bhartiya nari Parvati Tulsi types?

Zu,

I cannot believe the amount of hatred and bashing KKG has got in the majority of posts today, mostly because she danced to desi girl with NK today.
In fact more posts are being churned out hating her.

Her comment about Arnie's diabetes was in bad taste, no doubt about that. Also the way she crashed his party and changed everything.

But her dance?! Its not like she shimmied up and down a pole wearing a skimpy dress!

She was clad in a decent sari and to me none of the moves looked cheap.

In the last ME all the women in the Raizada house were dancing to Ooh Lala..which is a song in a different category by itself...at that time everyone loved it.

So basically as long as Khushi tolerates ASR's taunts, heartbreaking actions and goes on forgiving him, people are happy.
But the minute she gives it back to him in his style they start creating a hullabaloo that her character needs 'redemption'...its okay for him to hurt her, insult her time and again etc etc...because that's his character.

You nailed it, Shwets! His character is rude, so that's ok. Her character is as opinionated as his, but that is wrong.

And the derogatory words that have been used for her in some posts...tauba tauba...just for dancing.
You forgot ... also for touching a STRANGE MAN'S shoulder in a public party ... the strange man being her jeejaji's cousin ... HAWWW ... almost like living in sin!!!
And like you said, what about ASR in a live-in relationship with La?!

They're dissecting each and every word of hers today, and saying she's wrong in this, she's wrong in that.

Sorry Zu, went off on a rant there.
Me too ... I tried not to ... but honestly ... people are too used to Parvati Tulsi ... I prefer Dr Simran, Gunjan and now Khushi ... any day!!!

yeah...some of the post have used very bad language for khushi today...but i think its more of a problem with the cv's for khushi's characterisation...like if i compare the dhaba dance, that was a proper jalsa, where even the host were dancing and if i remember properly the dhaba aunty had pulled khushi to dance with her, when khushi was actually refusing...compared that to last night's dance, where she is was shown as eager to dance...wearing a saree, where her navel is showing have to state here, that i have no issues with her clothes or her dancing it just didn't go with the character of khushi that we know as (earlier during the photoshoot episode, she was so uncomfortable with the saree, trying to cover up parts which weren't even visible)...it did seem unlike khushi...i guess that caused most of the people to behave so angrily...also the diabetes thing...and the fact that she wasn't with payal at all during the party, when she gave payal as the reason for the coming there...

i am ok, if the cv's are trying to show that she has become a bit bold compared to her earlier demure avataar...but my only complaint is that it seems very sudden...not as gradual as Arnav's transformation...so I have this feeling that the cv's are spending more time building his character sketch as compared to khushi's...where-as she needs equal importance...

me too love her fiery side...and also the way she gives back to arnav...yesterday also everything was good...except for that one part, which u explained on ur blog's reply...and i agree with u now...

but i still feel that they need to keep her more in character...like she could've danced on someone's insistence...rather then going on-stage on her own...even a slight hesistance on her part, would've kept her more in touch with her original character sketch...

Diya, very few are us on the other side with yesterdays epi. I dont know whether you read or not kushi was called a tart and a s**t😒 for the dance. Its Ok if we dont agree with each others perspective but get into mud slinging about characters. It was repulsive to read such remarks. Even Arnav never minded her dancing so much!

I would now really like kushi to flirt openly with NK to burn Arnav..as Nadz said I didnt find him jealous yesterday to the extent I wanted him to be😆

Hi Zu, SHwets, NadZ and Diya. You and I are exactly on the same page...My sincere thanks to others who posted as well...specially to Princess and Anu for presenting their counter point of views too and Darcy fan and others for more moderate views...

I have to say I see the point about the jibe at diabetes as mean...agreed it was, however I am surprised at the reaction about her dance, and her clothes. Frankly speaking, I don't see anything wrong with that. I did not find it cheap or vulgar from any angle. Regarding it being inappropriate for R Family...leaving my Pov aside, I did not think AKash found it inappropriate either...and Arnie was more irked by his possessiveness and envy than it being inappropriate or anything like that...

I still have not read other threads but am reminded of the days when I posted in dance India Dance forums...and people got so emotionally attached to their favorites that they completely lost it on the forums with other members...I left the board eventually as it became really unpleasant...I hope it does not turn out that way here... I AM GLAD FOR EVERYONE WHO POSTED ON THIS THREAD TO HAVE A CONSTRUCTIVE AND ENJOYABLE DISCUSSION :-)
