And aaj toh bas dil Garden Garden hai😳
Any guesses why???😛
It has been the most beautifully shot scene ever..and it has been the first avatar of mine (I have tom and jerry DP till date😛) and I cant seem to replace this one...
Aaj toh Saffy boy, goggles chadha ke style maarne gaya and khuli Zulfon se flat ho gaya...
So flat that he actually never recovered from this one...
You know it was funny, Kesar unleased was that angry, uncontrolled brat that we saw in the beginning...But Gulaal unleased...this one..the one we saw Pre Vasant and Pre Talsagra advent, actually leased the unleased version of Kesar...and anyone would think I have fallen in love with the word 'leash'😆
But the thing is this Gulaal he recognized, it was as if he found his soul mate...I was just reminded of that scene where Vasant was sitting in a lonely place in Rashipur, immersed in deep thoughts, and Gulaal had come and given him a false scare, and Vasant had called out 'Kesar', because only Kesar can do such pranks...even then, when they had not met, they had been connected...
Coming to the scene which obviously starts with the horrible chit chatting on the part of the terrorist ... I can never understand her sitting in teh middle..as if she was a small child..even during that trip to the mandir scene, where the trio go to fetch Laljibhai, she is sitting right in the middle...😕...I mean I wonder how Kesar managed to shift the gears...
Anyways..cant curse her much as it was because of her we got this scene, or we should have expected nothing from the two, good for nothing brats!!!😡
And Then Talli making Kesar take the wrong way (Wrong way to her college, but right way in his life, I guess, the credit should always go to Talli for this) and brings Gulaal to a place she had always been happy at, and never been at since past 10 years...somehow forgotten to be happy for herself, to be happy by being self indulgent!
This actually strengthens PB's words na? That Gulaal never left house by herself...and the way they had showed Gulaal entering the house along with PB...it actually signified that her bond with the house was gonna be eternal and special...CVs had actually showed us in the beginning...
But back to the bageecha...we see Gulaal's hankering for going back home after finishing the task...actually shows how she is uncustomed being out..and you know I could connect with it...My mom is the same and I so get angry...but she takes care of my old grand parents and is always worried about them...even if she has gone to a marriage or something, she would call every hour ..to ensure everything..and would almost be like a fish out of water if she is made to go out like this for long hours only for self pleasure...I love Manasi in this, for balancing an act of a young girl totally care free and spirited ...and yet a responsible woman who had to grow up suddenly after her husband's death..yet maintaining her spirit ...
And then Gulaal's walk in the midst...The music is absolutely wonderful..and the sheer bliss on her face...The brat who so stylishly stood with his back at the jeep could not control himself na?? He had to come there..following ...wanting to know what was happening between ...his wanna-be and not-so-happening-bride- to- be and his wifey-but-not-really wifey dearest😕😆
And Talli removes the ghoonghat and opens Gulaal's hair...and boy! He is a goner...I just love love that cinematography...the sheer eternal bliss on his face...amazing that is..a rarity of scenes, where both of them are just happy, uninhibited and open...
and it struck me...that Gulaal loved everthing which was open, pure, natural and in their truest form...so defines Kesar na? And Kesar loved that woman who was in love with these qualities...
I guess I can find any connection and connect these two with that😆
and ofcourse that chase ...Gulaal chasing Talli ..how original is that
And Kesar following and watching through the trees...and Piyu maahri playing in the background...oh that is sheer bliss except the red spot right in the middle😡...
and ofcourse the fall...in the sheer romance of the scene..we forget to notice how Gulaal still doesnot admit defeat even when she falls..That is so Gulaal na?? The brat we saw in Rashipur...was almost back for that brief moment..and Kesar saw it...I guess after a long time...and I love the look and not so looking look he gives her...haha! And Gulaal's smile evaporated seeing him around...but did someone notice that she was not completely sad or shut down...this run and atmosphere had given her confidence,..the charm of the old Gulaal who knew her strengths and was confident of that..a pit of pride...that her beauty and intelligence gave her...you could see that reflected when she just ignores Kesar and concentrates on her feet...and hehe how can Saffron boy resist this one...that was one thing in the world he cannot let go...the fact that she ignored him...
So we will get the brat turning physio tomorrow as he heals her feet and give us the first ever 'hastamelap' of the grown up brats😳
