Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum got us a couple Sooraj and Sandhya played brilliantly by Anas and Deepika respectively. While Anas has acting experience, Deepika is a newbie yet the two come together to tell an endearing story. An emotionally blackmailed Sandhya is married to a sweet maker Sooraj who is not well educated. Compromising with her situation and crying over her dreams to be an IPS, Sandhya is beginning to appreciate her husband's good heart and generous soul. |
