Merry Christmas everyone. Its kolkata audition today.weird intro of kolkata(
yes as a native kolkatan, i hate the entry, and its Kolkata jay, o just the way u
speak the alphabet. remo speaks better bong and even terrence), no geeta
today.
lots of people from different part of eastern and north eastern India.
first one is ishan, 16 yr doing a locking popping robotics, freestyle in the
ELEPHUNK theme. he gets the topi after remo and terrence jests a bit. next
comes pankaj prateem barua from gauhati. ballet contemporary wit silk,
tujhko jo paya. self taught in contemporary( i doubt a bit, technique is quite
trained),mother bihu dancer.he is told he is born to dance and gets topi.
next sanchita dev, from assam. does bharatnatyam on mehbooba ,rgv aag)
nice idea of fusion. IMO, little weak on footwork and mudras. she tried right
from season1. has some sob story.gets topi.
some backhground showing random parents who have come to support their
kids.
some guy tries some hiphop, haribol kumar nam.then sunil kumar. comedy
fillers with their dancing and comic response from judges.
next tribikram roban( sorry forgot some devnagari script) doing ek pal ka ka
jina. does the hand movement with feet.
rita kumari does a semi classical o ramji bada dukh jeena, , tries good emotion.
radom guy with jaane tu contemporay, some dharmesh sir fan tries his style, random girl does freesytle.
She is not selected. some random interview with people about tension and
apprenehnsion.
next pradip gurung , age 25 from gauhati. dance instructor. contemporary
dancer. does on kaminey. imo his performance was DID top 12 level, fingers
crossed that he reaches top 18. gets thats what i call a performance and
chumeswary from the mentors. lots of accolades. gets topi.
random geeta ma praise
random dancer, subrata kumar, dressed as skeleton does some random
hiphop mixed dance on Thriller.
some girl from bhubaneswar does conteomporary( cannot read her name, my
poor hindi).gets topi, doesnt understand at first she got selected.
some salman khan fan, akash kumar, does bollywood style. masters come and
dance with him.doesnt get chosen. he was quite good.
random mithunda tribute, filler moments.
next payel paul, does bollywood on jalebi bai. I absolutely dont believe she is
16, not coz of her dance but her face and the way she speaks. no topi.
rah roy from ranchi.bollywood freesytle on pyaar chaida. nice performance,
gets topi.
good popping random guy. semi classical by random girl, manmohini from
yuuvraaj.gets topi. random girls bellydance mix on uri.random guy does
liquid pooping. rajasmita does contemporary on leja leja . gets topi.
brindaban from bhubaneswar, floor contemporary on tanhayee. comic relief
for judges. random rejection, seems there r rounds of selection before people
come infront of the masters.
classical dancers, monalisa mandal from dpl eastern tigers. gets selected and
one guy who does classical. some random guy does bw, terence and remo
ends with comic relief.
