Hello Everyone, this is my first post on the DEK forum, i recently started watching this show, All credit goes to the strong characterizations of Monya aka Manyata and UdayVeer :)

I really like the way Dekha Ek Khwaab the title of the show plays it's role here, Monya had in her innocence wished to be a princess, a girl like Jai Nandini with a promise to be humble and honest.

And her dream did come true, But she clearly rejects everything, she doesn't want a twee bit of it. If given a choice she would run away as far as she can, hide as long as she can. And it is all so justified.

Monya now Has to become Manyata, And the cost she has to pay for that is her style, her thoughts, her manners, her speech, her habits, her likes and even more important her Baba, her friends and as she claims her Love Akash.

It's her whole world which she is being asked to give away, for the comforts of being a Princess, in a world where rules are so strict that it's suffocating, in a world where her two worst enemies exist - Jay as her sister, and Uday, as her to-be husband.

Currently for Monya in the show, the situation is as the title says, A whole World to be Erased and re-written.

The contrast in both the worlds is so vast that it is painful and heart-wrenching to see the girl struggle to hold onto her identity.

Well as we progress into the show, will we have to bid GoodBye to the Sherni Bindaas Monya and accept a sophisticated and classy Princess Manyata, or will Monya fight against all the odds and be successful in holding firm to Her identity while slowly becoming the Princess Manyata she had once wished for?

I would like the second one 😳

Welcome Wandmaker! You remind me of Olivander 😉 you know HP lies in my blood couldn't help it 😆 😆

I want Maanyata to have her jungli nature but get aquainted with the classy lifestyle also. Because it is needed when she goes out as the Royal Representative among many high profile dignitaries. I want her to have fun like she always had. 😳

In short just be the princess that she dreamed of always (erasing akash frm the part 😆 )

And welcome dearie to the show 😳 our MaanVeer is attracting many to the show 😃

How can one forget the past live in a Min yeh it will take time !!!
i want the Jungli Manyata to remain but i want her to be classy nd giving jai nandi answers with her uniqueness!!!
I would go for the second 1 too!!!!

Exactly my point, and then Jai nandini deserves it from our Sherni- haan nahin tou 🤣

Even Uday thinks among the same lines...his dialogue 'Kuch to baat hai isme' err sumthin lyk that pardon my memory power, says it all xD

agree with your post keep it up! hope it happens the way you said it will, she cannot become a princess overnight. She has the rights but has yet to accept them, she has the chance but needs to adjust to everything first before she takes in her hands and uses it.

welcome to the forum!

and yes, it is difficult. It is a big transition from a poor girl to a princess, where she's had to lose her father, friends & even Akash who she claims to love. She is going to have to search for her identity from scratch & that is not easy. That's why they say you gotta be careful of what you wish for. Personally, i think she was always Manyata. She always had it in her, like UV pointed out in their first few meetings. Its just about recognizing & accepting it.

But i guess, she will slowly, especially now that she is getting closer to Unnati & Komal. Furthermore, i think when Dadi catches her in her room, that will be a big turning point as she will start to realise the consequences of her actions.
