Maharani Gayatridevi Peshwae College auditorium ,at 7pm

The speaker started his introductory speech "today, this evening we our gathered to celebrate the birthday of our beloved Rajmata Gayatridevi, who is also the founder and trustee of this institution. I would like to call Rajmataji on the stage and start the function by lighting the diya stand."

General Secretary of college jogged down from the stage to escort Rajmata to diya stand. She smiled to the crowd gracefully as she lightened the diya's and whole auditorium was echoed with sounds of thundering claps.

Maharani Gayatridevi peshwae ,eldest of peshwae royal family was fondly called Aaisaab /AS by her children and grandchildren. She is born leader and backbone of her family. Aaisaab is very elegant lady and she always impressed people and media by her wise and provident decisions. She could handle any situation and she had strong influence on all political parties.

Rajmata have two children, youngest daughter Mrunalinidevi is married to businessman and she has son named vijay and daughter jaynandini. The eldest son of Rajmata is maharaja Brijraj who was married to komaldevi .But after the tragic accident in which he lost his wife and daughter, he secluded himself from rest of the world and avoided attending any function. Therefore except for Maharaja Brijraj everyone was present in hall.Udayveer and his family was also invited. Udayveer's father Maharaja Giriraj and Maharaja Brijraj are very good friends. Both rajput and peshwae families shared bond of friendship since many generations.

Uday sat next to Rajmata, he was her favorite and she treated him like her own son. And function started initially with dance competition which was followed by singing competition. After some singing performance, speaker announced on the mike" our next singer is Miss Manyata who will sing the song from movie JISM"

Uday's face lit up when he heard Manyata's name. Slowly curtains were raised and he saw Manyata standing in center of stage surrounded by focus of light coming from all four corner of stage. She was wearing simple white color saari with silver border, and her hairs were beautifully tied in bun. She was glowing like a star even in light makeup with minimum accessories. Uday's gaze was fixed on to Manyata and his heart burnt in passion of her radiance." Truly she is goddess of beauty", he thought.

As band started the music Manyata started singing.

JAHAN MITHA NASHA , HAI TAARON KI CHAHOWON MEIN'

Uday was now completely mesmerized by her sweet voice. He dreamt of Manayata walking with him in beautiful garden, which was far away from this world and no one else could reach there to disturb them. He smiled to himself thinking about his imagination.

Manyata continued '. GAATI SARSARATI IN HAWAON SANG AAO ,PASS MERE AAO NA

SAPNO KA SAFAR HAI MERE DIL KA YEH BAWARH HAI ISMEIN DUBH JAO NA'

And Uday began to drown deeper and deeper in her dream as he listened the song.

SUHANA LAMHA CHUPATA ABB MILGAYA , JAHAN MITHA NASHA , HAI TAARON KI CHAHOWON MEIN'

CHALO '. TUMKO LEKAR CHALEIN ,HUM UNHE FIZZAON MEIN

Udayveer came out of his dreamland due to noise made by crowd, which whistled and clapped when Manayata finished the song.Uday wanted to get up and run over to her at backstage but Rajmata called to him.

As: kya hua beta , tum jana chatein ho. Kahin bore to nahi huae na?

Uv:bikul nahi aaisaab,itna beautiful song aur dil ko choonewaali awaaz, hum kaise bore ho sakate hai? Waise aaisaab, I must say aapka college talent aur beauty ka khazana hai.And credit goes to you.

Principal and Rajmataji were on stage , giving the prizes to winners as names were called out. Finally speaker said" and first prize in solo singing competition goes to Miss Manyata" and uday grinned broadly as his wish was fulfilled.

Manyata walked up to stage and bend down at Rajmata's feet to take her blessings. Aaisaab smiled and kept her hand on Manyata's head, when unexpectedly she noticed a familiar scar on her back. Her expression changed and she was filled with both emotions of happiness and pain. She was lost in flashback of her past but she was brought back to present by principal's words.

Aaisaab continued to stare at her as she walked away and then she turned towards principal and whispered to him.

As: principal saab aapse jaroore baat karne hai.
