He's moved from one home into another. Our sources tell us that Mohnish Behl, who quit playing Suyash Mehra in Balaji's Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii for Star Plus recently, will now be acting as Anu's long lost father in Shreya Creations' Ek Ladki Anjaani Si on Sony.
The reticent Mohnish was not available for comment but insiders insist
that the actor will soon enter the script. Ananya, who has been battling an unwanted pregnancy through an inadvertent surgical procedure, has been shown living with her mother, uncle and grandmother.
Even as she comes to terms with her growing attachment for Nikhil Samarth, played by Shakti Anand, Anu is now likely to have to contend with a father, long lost from the scene. Anu's mother in fact, has been shown to have a tumultous relationship with a married man, thus far. Mohnish, who's moved from the big screen (Hum Aap Ke Hain Koun was his last big appearance) has also appeared in serials like Sony's primetime Devi. Official comment on Mohnish's entry into Ek Ladki.. however was unavailable, yet.
