according to this article, the Shishunag rulers were Buddhists. so that means, Buddhism was already prevalent during that period. CGM belonged to the era of Dhananand ie Nanda dynasty which came into being after the shishunag dynasty. in the show, it's shown that Mrignayani, princess of Karvasa preaches "ahimsa" to CGM. this means, Mrignayani- CGM- Nanda dynasty all belong to the same time period. so it's possible that Mrignayani was influenced by buddhism or herself a buddhist. ab samjhi ??😉

U know what guys when that Mrignayini wala track was going on in the show... it was clear that She won't marry CGM at all... After that scene in which she handles herself to Dhana... I thought that she would be shown converted into a Buddhist or a Jain who will later influence CGM... It was just a random thought of mine... Which I find now that was much practical also..heheh...

But she was shown dead at the end... Which i think was not planned by the makers... I personally feel that they were about to show the same stuff of Mrignayini's conversion to Buddhism but as the actress decided to leave the show... they killed the character...

What do you think??
