The day GHSP ended...there was a vacuum created inside me...I was numb and tears gushed, my heart was weeping. The last scene of them with their baby...so real...

But instead of filling buckets with my tears which would be useless, though my parents were wondering why my eyes looked like two bull frogs, I decided to pen down an ode dedicated to our Maneet/Gurti...

Her's the ode...hope it inspires all of us to fight on...We won't rest until we get our Maneet/Gurti back...

The ode is below...

Get Inspired...and remember the beautiful relationship they created with us, with our hearts...

Will we let them go just like that...

Won't we even try...

We'll fight on😃

Ode to Maneet

😳Angels of love once descended on Earth,😳

😳And filled every heart with pure amore.😳

They had to leave and when they did,

😭The parting sobs drown the ship.😭

😭We sigh, gasp and cry aloud,😭

Without you we just can't breathe.

We plead to thee O loving Hearts,

Our lives are but broken parts,

Come back to us, One Hearted Souls,😳

Bring us love we miss the most.

Thy tale of love is most divine,😳

How different hearts can so combine?😳

That one breathes and the other lives,😳

And in one's pain the other bleeds.😳

We saw your love growing big,

And now we all are part of it.😃

Life's beautiful when you are there,

Without you O Angels rare,😳

Our smiles are fading, dead and bare.

Bring us hope that we have lost.😭

And when they met they fought at length,😆

The clashes brought you divinely close,😳

The spell was cast, love had won,

Two warring hearts melted into one.😳

He held her close in all her pain,😳

Her selfless love his dearest gain.😳

Thy love so pure, into us you pour,😳

We hold our hearts and love you more.😳

With hope filled hearts we still dream on,

Refusing to believe that thou are gone.

The sun, the moon, the stars all still,

While we still hang on to the Maneet hill.

We wonder what we did wrong,

That you just left us with a parting song.

Thou planted love in barren heart,

Won't let you go just like that.

You stay in us forever and ever,

You'll come for us and that's love's power.
