um...what the heck is wrong with him? he used to chose such good scripts before. now he chooses scripts that are for sole entertainment purposes with NO story at all. 😕 Salman, you USED to do super hit films. Now you do entertainment films without a clear story.

salman, no one approaches you to sign a film that wins awards. :| they approach you because they think you're a suitable person for the role. um in that case no big director should even offer him a role if that's his approach! :|

He makes crap cinema and I'm so glad he knows he makes shit. Some shit sells, and some times it doesn't. He's flying high now, but no guarantee the same stuff will work in the future...Akki anyone?

Maybe he should consider some versatility in his future projects. Can't believe this is the same guy who I adored as Prem and now he is churning out stuff like Ready and Bodyguard.

As for Ashutosh--after working with the likes of Aamir, SRK, and Hrithik---you approach Salman? Really? You can't be that desperate...if you wanna make GOOD films then approach Ajay Devgan, Prateik, Emraan, Abhay, Irfan, or South Indian actors like Vikram, Suriya or Vijay--who in my opinion are WAY better actors than Salman.

^^^Not only Ashu but other directors who started out with critically acclaimed films in the last 5-10 years have fallen prey to commercialization in the later ventures. Its obvious they havent been honest to themselves. No wonder their movies were thumbed down at the BO. I'd say make a crap film but do it with all honesty rather than try to pass off something as psuedo intellectual film.

lol its funny cuz its not like he's been giving hits for the past 10 years. he went through like the longest phase of doing bad movies that were flops also. i havent enjoyed a salman khan flim since no entry and partner...atleast the comedy was funny is those films. movies like ready and bodyguard sell these days although i see no entertainment in them. i still havent even understood what was so great about dabang.

salman will be remembered for being an entertainer not a good actor and he knows that so i guess its okay.

No one went to see KJJS or whatever that awful movie with Abhishek was called. It was panned universally by audiences and critics so why should Salman oblige Ashutosh. You are as good as your last film. Its not like he approached Salman right after Lagaan. In fact the quality of Ashutosh's films (JA, WYR and KJJS) have been declining so its not even good cinema that Salman refused. Pretentious cinema - maybe, good cinema - doubtful
