Watching how DEK storyline has been progressing, I think the following:
- I think that Akash and Monya were never meant to be the endgame/future couple. In the future, I think that Akash will approach Monya with a marriage proposal but she will reject him due to some reason/circumstance. This will cause Akash a lot of pain and sadness and perceive Monya's rejection to be due to financial reasons. He might think she rejected him because he wasn't wealthy enough for her. So, I think that's how that 'rag to riches' storyline comes into place. He might finally achieve financial success through dedication and hard work and approach her again but by then it might too late. She might be married to Uday and therefore lose her forever. (Hopefully he doesn't turn negative). Kind of like the movie Dhadkan except Uday ain't the quiet, shy type.
- I also think that something is fishy with Brijraj. He definitely does not seem as excited/happy as his wife on finally getting Manyata back. Maybe, Manyata isn't his daughter but someone else's/Murari's? I think the reason he wanted to murder Murari might be because he hated him and didn't want Manyata to return to the palace?
- I think Uday may eventually pretend to love Monya and convince her to marry him but later on fall in love with her eventually.
