AVERAGE films where the performances stood out!

😕😕😕 There are so many films that were forgettable, but in some cases, the performances stood out that made it a bearable watching experience! I can think of so many films with this scenario, past or present. The Khans have had a lot of average films. SRK had average films like Yes Boss, Josh, Mohabbatein, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Don: The Chase Begins Again, etc. where his sincere effort showed despite the movies not being all that! Same goes with Aamir Khan in films like Mangal Pandey: The Rising, Fanaa, Ishq, Dil, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, etc. or Salman in films such as Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Garv: Pride and Honour, etc. The actresses also have had average films which were watchable due to their performances which stood out, such as Kajol in Dil Kya Kare, or Madhuri in Raja, or Aish in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, or Rani in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. Please share your thoughts on AVERAGE films where the performances stood out!!! 👏👏👏

Well, you are not alone! 😳 I have watched Umrao Jaan at least 20-30 times! I am not lying. A lot of people find this movie unbearable and not even average. However, it is a perfect example of an average film where the performance stood out. So, don't feel bad about DHT being your guilty pleasure. Umrao Jaan is my guilty pleasure because Aish did such a marvelous job! She made me cry and enjoy her gorgeous dancing! 😭😭😭 Can't get enough of Umrao Jaan and will love it for eternity! 😃😃😃

Hahah, really?..I liked Umrao Jaan because of Aish's performance. But that's about it. The movie didn't do much for me. Its funny how certain movies stick with you and you can't get enough of it!(:

Mohabbatein was such a boring movie. I couldn't even finish the movie. That's like the only srk where I didn't even finish watching it. I saw a little bit of it
