AR Rehman has gotten western recognition so now people love him. No doubt he is great.

At one time he was criticized the same way as HR, for excessive instrumentization and repetitions.

I would like him to compose for 6 movies in a row and produce 26 hits in a row. To change indian music by introducing sufi sounds, reggae and hip hop feel.

I am tired of HR's singing , but I tell you he deserves some credit for turning a corner for hindi music. Now everyone wants to experiment by using new voices and sounds. Way to go HR for being innovative. Anyone successful will be criticized and that's how things go.

It's become a national past time to now criticize him without thinking about how mean it is, expecially when someone has created so much successful music. It's almost unfair.

I have not seen any MD yet who has done what he has done. So I would say he is super talented.

I also like SEL, and JL. ID , I also like but he has limited work. AR rehman is wonderful too, no doubt. BUt, indians are obsessed with western recognition. Once that happens we all start saying that person is good.
