Saif resumes Cocktail as Kareena kick-starts Heroine

The weekend gone by saw Kareena Kapoor finally beginning the shoot of Heroine. While Madhur Bhandarkar is definitely heaving a sigh of relief after the initial heart burn he had to go through when Heroine almost came to being shelved, Kareena's beau Saif Ali Khan too has put together his plans in place.

"Now that Kareena is busy with Heroine, Saif's plans to complete the shoot for Cocktail have been put in place as well. He has left for Cape Town and would be there for the final schedule that would last for around three weeks. He and Kareena try as much as possible to be together in their spare time and hence whenever their shooting schedules match, it is always an added benefit", informs a common friend of the couple.

In any case Cocktail has taken some time to complete and with Agent Vinod already being on for over a year and a half, Saif has been without a bona fide commercial film for quite some time with Aarakshan as his only release.

"This should be the last schedule though and Saif doesn't mind the time taken in its making as it is really special for him", says a co-actor, "It's a love story written by Imtiaz Ali and has elements of friendship and betrayal in it. He feels that after Agent Vinod, his next release must be Cocktail."

Meanwhile Kareena too is happy plunging into a film like Heroine which adds much more weight to her career when compared to the likes of Ra.One and Bodyguard, both of which were male centric affairs. "All that matters is that Madhur came to me again and I am doing it now because it is a great film", says Kareena.

As for Deepika Padukone, leading lady of Cocktail, she is happy to return with Saif after Love Aaj Kal and Aarakshan. She says, "There are some films that forever stay with you as an actor. Cocktail is one of them as it is a beautiful love story. I am looking forward to this last schedule unfold in Cape Town."

With the respective schedules of Heroine and Agent Vinod wrapping up by mid-December, guess each of these stars would already be planning one big-n-fat New Year party on their return.

Cocktail is not the actual title..in interviews both Saif and Deepika have said that there is no name yet!
