My take on Tumhari Disha - June 23 '05

Thanks Vidya for the update and sanju for the preview.

After a long time yesterday's epsiode was ok rather than dumb. So decided to pen a take. Now at least Dish decided to take life under her control. Dk still continues to roam around and I wonder how long he wud do so.

Gautam and Azuba are the only ppl in Bhonsle house who seem to trust that Dish is innocent. I incl Gautam also in the list as he was moved by DIsh tears and was abt to approach Dish but thanks to suk's nudging of Sanya , Sanya makes a sign to Gautam not to do anything and dumb guy agrees to that as well. Dish notices this. Suk and Sanya genuinely seemed sad that they are doing the rituals for Rano's widowhood status.

It was heartening to see Ved still supportive of Dish. Goes on the prove that he really is a very positive character. Its very difficult to find ppl like Ved in real life and if u do find u wud be extremely lucky to have him in your life. Somehow after seeing yesterday's episode I felt that Dish wud have been better off if she had married Ved but then a marriage cannot be happy if there is no love and it wud just be a compromise. If DK was present in this situation then am sure that DK also wud have helped out Dish. It remains to be seen how Ved unravels this mystery.

The last scene involved Dish showing the strength of her character when she refused to sign those papers. I think that Kanchan wud now realize that Dish is indeed innocent as otherwise she def wud have signed those papers. As they say, a person's guilt is shown in one's eyes, Dish's defiant and confident approach is sure to raise some warning alarms in Kanchan's mind.

I also have a feeling that at a later stage Ved mite get 2gether with Kanchan and try to prove Dish innocent. and they may have some romantic undercurrents as well !!!! Inspector Kanchan looks like a person who upholds honesty and truth and am sure she will not be vindictive against Dish.

But as always we never know what is going on in the writers minds so we will have to see if all this leads to more problems and how the story proceeds. btw with DK coming so less on TD nowadays I think that Ashish proceeded on leave before Chhavi and soon the focus will all be on DK rather than Dish to accomodate her leave then. (As of now the focus is on Dish).

TITBITS OF THE WEEK

Turning point has to be the revelation that Kanaka is still in Dish's name.

Gratifying to see that Ved is still on the side of truth in spite of being sidelined.

Horrible to see DK still roaming around the streets of Mumbai with no rhyme or reason.

Volte face has to be Pori who is now back to trying to enter good books of Ved and Gargi.

Oh god i was wondering when you will write your take next thanks for the brilliant analysis as TD now is shwoing just a ray of hope that the story might pick up and the main Protagonist will also be shown as strong and determined to live through this challenge and Disha will also stand by what she believes in. DK is still alone i feel now that Vedant has Disha but atleast for now Vedant is aware that DK is innocent hope DK has somes support.

Well well I thought that do swathi that Kanchan might help but in the process Kanchan migth fall for Vedant too but not too sure about Vedant..

For now a see a little ray of hope that Disha ki Disha might be changing and u are so funny accomodate the hols and that is why DK has been missing great sounds 100% right😆aur phir Disha..

Wonderful, to read your take after a gap of few days. I can understand that u just couldn't bring youself to writing anything on the abs nonessential epi. of the last few days. Some relief that Ved is still a positive character & will help D, come what may! So Ved the lover will act as savior for now!! Azuba, is a sweet heart, I always knew that he'll stand by D. Gautam, is becoming a complete spineless creature………JKG (joru ka gulam). But in the past also he knew that his parents got Dev killed but he never opened his trap to let D know the truth! I also have big hopes fr the lady officer. It would be nice if Ved & she fall in love, while helping D.

I see only roona- dhoona & court case in Td for now. Dk babu needs to take shelter & refuge somewhere probably he is looking for a scenic route or a fairy god mother. Dk babu roads are dirty long & weary so better stop & take charge of life. Maybe Gargi & Pori will give some comic relief ,some jig fr Suki kaki will also bright up the sc. So much of emotional baggage is hard to handle!!

well i am happy 2 c ved's character has not changed & 4 1ce my predictions were spot on...........i am also glad 2 c that he went off looking 4 dk............hopefully he still continues with this & finds him.........i am glad i am not watching dk roaming the streets all sad & dejected😭......yes ved has proven 2 b a gr8 friend 2 dish & lets hope while he helps dish dk doesn't misunderstand this aswell............

it definitely seems like both ashish & chhavi had taken some time off (can't blame them after working 13-14hrs daily)..........so we will c less of them...........

Well guys here in SA this week we watched the episode from sumi mistaking pori as her bahu to gargi being arrested. As I watched sumi call pori her bahu only 1 thought came in2 my mind & that was that I could easily use both the doctor & pori as target practice on my dart board, if not worse😉. I mean pori didn't help matters by running 2wards sumi, hugging her & calling her mummyji………….gosh the only mo 2 have settled this misunderstanding was right there & then…………both dish & dk should've corrected sumi then, & I really don't think anything would've happened to her………….a/w whats done is done…………

Well it was good 2 c gargi all nervous, afraid & panicky…………afterall she knew what she had done…………..this was portrayed well by her………..although I thought her drama was a bit over done when sumi actually confronts her…………..she seemed more like a drama queen…………..i also thought that she definitely got off easy…………for her to have just been arrested so easily was definitely a cop out…………I mean if I were sumi or dk I would've liked her to suffer a I bit more…………btw guys did u notice in these episodes where dish turns gargi/pori against 1 another they played the fida song in the b/ground…………."aja ve gargi lets do balle balle, aja ve pori lets do balle"………….1 of my many fav songs………….mind u I wouldn't mind doing balle balle with dk or even ashish 4 that matter…………..😉😳😆

The person that i really felt bad 4 was ved…………theres nothing worse than 2 have 2 turn against ur own mother & hand her over 2 the police, not 2 mention slap her………..it takes a very strong willed person 2 do this............

I quite enjoyed the scene where dk bandages dish's wound………….aawww they looked so cute 2gether😉…………..dk tells dish that he doesn't know whether 2 b angry at her taking on a crazy woman like gargi or b happy as she saved his mum…………..he also tells her that he can't believe some1 can b so genuinely kind until he sees dish…………..she tells him that she hopes he doesn't 4get this conversation in 1 of his anger spells to which he replies that he cannot change that about himself……………he looses all sight of reasonableness when he is upset & angry…………..

I also enjoyed seeing sumi reunite the 2 bros👏…………..although this union is very short lived by what we c later…………….sad, cos I prefer to c dk/ved with ea other as opposed 2 against 1 another………….

1 could understand suhas reaction 2 all this saga………….although I don't agree 2 what she is currently doing 2 dish, I can understand how she must have felt seeing her daughters MIL call pori bahu…………..she tells dish that her problem is that she is just too kind (ofcourse she is right here) & that how long is she going 2 sacrifice 4 the sake of others…………….well as we c now that hasn't ended has it???

Well now I am looking fwd 2 the havan, dish ILU & rain scenes😊……………

Guys while typing this out a thought came 2 mind that if we had 2 make a serial it would b all happy & merry all the time, which could become rather boring………….so perhaps "sometimes" like 5-10% of the time perhaps we r a bit too harsh on the likes of the guhas (& NO, I am not siding them)………….i mean without the khichdi the serial wouldn't move fwd……………but in the same breath let me say that majority of the time (like 90-95%) they tend 2 overcook the khichdi…………..i mean khichdi like blast from the past, memory loss, wife/husband swapping, 3-4 shaadi's 4 the same person & my personal fav heart attack/fainting on demand should be phased out……………they should think of cooking up some new ideas……………& I'm sure u all will agree with me that we have some wonderfully talented people in the likes of mink, jingle, lata & a whole lot of others who could enlighten & enrich guhas with their wonderful ideas……………..😊

I'm glad Ved now also knows the truth and hopefully will help the 2 Ds get together again. Hope the inspector will be the new love in his life - look forward to seeing Gargi & her meeting each other!

Mamta - agree with you we need the twists and turns but we don't need the same ones repeated again and again and again....

I agree that twists and turns are needed but at thr ight proportion ! like how they say too many cooks spoil the broth similarly too many twists take the story haywire !!

Mamta, I dunno if I told u earlier but I really like the way u summarize what you have watched in TD in ur posts....it kind of makes me relive those old scenes which are good !!!

In case Ved and Kanchan do get 2gether then am really looking forward to Gargi meeting Kanchan. btw Kanchan seems a bit similiar to Dish (morally upright and all that for now) so maybe they mite end up being reel sisters.

Even I missed writing my takes everyday but as mink says nonsensical/nonessential episodes really do no inspire me to write a take and added to the fact that no DK was also shown !!! well yesterday I liked the fact that Dish decided to move on and also Ved trying to help out as i've mentioned in my take !

Thanks Swathi 😃 Finally we know now that Ved is positive and hopefully he'll be helping bring D's together. I still can't say much about this Kanchan's character but it would be nice to have ved get his own girl for once 😳

I agree with you Mamta and Nikki.. we need twists to keep the serial going but they should be logical!! The one where Sumi mistakes Pori for her bahu was the most illogical twist ever! I can never get over it.. all this drama could have been avoided by simply correcting Sumi at that time. But whats done is done.. so lets hope we don't get more twists like these to drive us insane 😆

Td is showing some positive signs now. Dish aware of the truth. Ved's willingness to help Dish & hunt for his brother. Azoba & Ved might bail out Dish. But for heaven sake when will DK's Padh Yatra come to an end. Frome past one week I read he is walking on the streets. Now Def. he is going to faint hitting a car. But whose car is a biq Question? If it is

Gargi's car she will inturn hide all the reality from him and poison his mind😭.

Shikha Roy's car she will break out the news of DIsh being in jail👏.

Suhasini's car she will leave him abandon on the road.

Gulabo - Yes, one never forgave Sum for that mistake...I'm quite looking forward to her popping off next week (in UK) !!
