It seems I'm the sole supporter of Akash and Monya story.. I kinda like Akash.. He seems to be down to earth simple guy and for a change I would like to see a simple love story.. I'm kinda bored of seeing the same smart a** boy seeking challenges and finds his match in a girl who takes no s*** from him and gives him back and he eventually falls for her.. Seriously guys how many time we have seen this happen in serials like Dill Mill Gaye, Kitani Mohabbat hai and now recently in Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon.. Same old wine in new bottle.. Yaawwwnnn!!!!

If DEK is inspired by PD as people are talking of in forum.. then the movie was made in two parts.. In first part the simple high school girl falls for the high school cool guy who is a sports jock and a stud and every high school girls fantasized him but then he turns out to be a real creep and attention seeking media monger.. and in the end she realizes her mistake and kisses the simple yet sweet, caring and lovable guy who also happens to be her bff's brother.. but in second part where the girl is forced to marry in order to rule the throne she is given ample of choices of the princes among which she choose a simple kind-hearted and down to earth Prince and get engaged to him.. but she is often bugged by the throne acquiring and stubborn minister's nephew who is part royalty and could be elected to be the prince if the real princess gives up the throne or defamed or something.. She literally hates him from start but later in just one kiss sparks fly and she falls for the bratty and handsome "Chris Pine"... So PD having two versions has me confused that which way will this story turn to.. Actually Akash looks just like UD.. He has muscles, waxed chest, gelled hair, his plus point is height which UD lacks and UD has tattoo which Akash lacks.. Just that one is positive till now may turn negative later or may remain the same and the other is supposedly grey who may turn positive or may turn more negative..

i really love the simplicity of their chars, both are down to earth and normal people like us, i lov their pairing and i only watch this show for their lov story,
