If producers are willing to pay her why not ? Its nice to think that her talent is being recognized.

Me thinks she is just raising it to refuse offers. I think marriage is on the cards soon and I am sure her SId will be more than willing to get some plum offers for his wife from UTV.

And yes she needs to shape up after this movie releases. She cant hide behind the character for too long.

I think, the reason why she gets this leniency here is because she's not "commercial" enough. She's only found in niche roles so the audience doesn't have this expectation anymore about her figure like they did back in the Kismat Konnection days. Aish, Kareena, Kat, PC, Sonam, DP are the more "glamorous" actresses, so we as an audience hold this expectation that they look the part. We only pay attention to Vidya when her films come out, otherwise we don't care where she goes or what she does. With Aish, Bebo, PC etc, we do care where they go, who they meet, what they wear, what they buy, how they look...24/7, regardless if their films are coming out or not

If Vidya decided to go mainstream again, then the negativity surrounding her weight and her looks would come back here. I do wish she took care of herself more...she enjoys dressing 20 years more than she really is🤔...but yes the criticism should be fair here too. She isn't fit at all
