Vidya Balan raises her fee

Actress Vidya Balan is on a new high since her movieThe Dirty Picture has started making rave reviews for her portrayal of south siren Silk Smitha on the screen.

Her sultry look has been appreciated well by all and now considering her current popularity, Vidya is in full mood to cash it. She has gone for a pay hike in her upcoming movie and is asking for more money than her usual fee.

It is learnt from the sources that Vidya has demanded more money than lead actor Farhan Akhtar for their film together. The fresh pairing has been cast for the movie Shaadi Ke Side Effects, which is a sequel to the hit film Pyaar Ke Side Effects.

According to a source, Farhan has approved of the idea and verbally agreed to act in the movie. His dates and remuneration have still to be worked out. But the catch is that Vidya is asking for more money. Especially since her forthcoming film, The Dirty Picture, which revolves around her character, has generated high buzz.

So it remains to be seen whether Farhan is agreeable to that. Source informs that the movie revolves around how things change after a couple madly in love with each other, get married.
