Dev under utilized

After watching the last few episodes, I am still feeling that Dev's role is not getting stronger, there are a few glimpses of him rising from the old believes, but again he is clue-less. He did not explore deeper into Barkha's schemes, never suspected as to why Virat is snooping around the mutth. He was hardly there in the last couple of episodes, so disappointing. Avi is a great actor in Dev's role, but this role is not getting stronger, it has improved but not nearly enough where the actor can shine. Looks like Barkha is CV's darling role, she is every where, so tired of her bak bak. CVs do something so that

this weak we can see more of dev as kanha new game wil separate barkha from dev

hope that cv's will make dev stronger and stronger

Dev can make decisions of his own, think for himself and his wife.

Although everyone knows that Radhika is good natured, she helped Balram, but how come Dev never questioned, why Balram is hanging around Radhika? as viewers we know the relationship between Kanha and Balram, but Dev does not know this.

I really hope Dev's character gets elevated so that Avi;s talents are fully utilized.

I am feel so sad that CV's has made his character so mute for so long!

i also agree vth Ks...y he z treating radhika as 3rd person..n trusts dat stupid barkha blindly.. y he z nt asking abt radhika's gaayab n he never tried to search radhika wen she left.. he z ready 2 eat vth dat barkha(bt it nt shown).. his character z nt strong enough..he never asked r gav time to virat to prove himself..i dnt knw wat this cv's r thinking

no doubt about that , because of her Kanha himself has to come to earth to punish her
role, she is every where, so tired of her bak bak. CVs do something so that

Liked your post and the questions and i think most of the viewers have the same thoughts about Dev,s characterization...Why does he needs third persons permission for his married life ...same i was asking , why Dev is not feeling odd about Radhika,s behavior ...Most of the time she is in Goshala ans Balram is always with her ...Dev is now waking up slowly , funny is he is not doubting Barkha ...Agree none trust Virat and Maheshwari , even then he should start thinking as so many times Kanha dropped the hints ...

Soon his character will become stronger and hopefully he will get more scenes 😊

i m disagree on your point i know last few episodes dev get screen space but his chracter is now coming good according to story.barkha made her point so strong that itis difficult for him to belive if he disbelief radhika then how he can believe virat.

barkhaagg, perhaps you did not watch CB1 from the beginning, Dev cared about his family so much in CB1 that he gave up his love for Radhika, he tolerated being married to Vishakha so that his daadima does not get hurt, his mom did not care that Dev is in pain married to a girl whom he does not love, he did not want to be a Rajpurohit but he had to take over this responsibility, he thought of pursuing his love for Radh but his brother Vivek stopped him to protect the family honour and Rajpurohiti, Dev again put his love aside and upheld the family, when he bacame Abhay, he showed so much loyalty to Mataramji's family. Throughout CB1 Dev's character was strong, because he took decisions based on his good nature, his care for elders and the family. In CB2 he is getting swayed, he is not exploring, understanding things all by himself, he is a step behind with everything where as Barkha is a step ahead with everything. Avi is a versatile actor, we want to see him shine in his very important role DEV...
