I don't think its about possessiveness or jealousy, its for navya to realise to have life balance. Navya needed to give importance to what was happening at anant's home and get there on time. She could have left a message for her boss to pick up work in the morning due to family circumstances. Poor anant got told off by Om for no reason. Anant is right to be upset with navya.
