But what is interesting, at least from the search data collected by Google over the last 15 days, is that she is particularly popular in Orissa and Haryana. Also, people in small towns and metro suburbs have shown keen interest in the po*n star.
According to the data at Google Trends, Noida generated highest number of searches related toSunny Leone in the last 30 days, followed by Bhubaneswar, Ludhiana and Bhopal.
Before November 16, Sunny Leone, who was born to Punjabi parents in Canada and now lives in the US, aroused little interest in India and search queries about her were so small that Google doesn't even show it on the chart. However, after November 16, four days before she entered the reality TV show, the number of people searching for "Sunny Leone" saw an explosive increase.
For a few days the growth in search queries related to Sunny Leone was what Google describes "breakout". Orissa was on the top of the list of states from where most of these queries were generated, followed by Haryana and Delhi. Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan were next on the list.
Most people were searching for Sunny Leone. However, the second most popular search string was a surprise. Despite Sunny being a po*nstar, there is a sizable number of Indians who were willing to put her pictures as wallpapers, making "sunny leone wallpaper" second most popular search string. Of course, many also wanted to see her in action, something that is reflected by search queries "sunny leone HD", "sunny leone videos" and "sunny leone video" that were third, fourth and fifth most popular search strings.
