How is 'fascination' different from a crush?

Well, i guess that for most people, it's one and the same. Sometimes a peculiar fascination/obsession with a person of the opposite sex is termed as a "crush", too often. Even if it isn't really that. How do you know a "crush" from just a very "intense fascination"? How would you technically define and distinguish the two?

I was struggling to understand Earthly love and Transcendental love posted in another topic and here we have crush and fascination Add infatuation and obsession to complete the list or are there any more remaining classification 🤓

Yeah, crush=infatuation.

Too intense crush=obsession.

Not really. How would one judge the difference? Any measuring scale available?😕 where does love figure in all this?

Question is fascination n crush.
Fascination is wonder but when we like what we see it becomes infatuation which turns into a crush when we get excited everytime we see or think of the person.
Eg. You may be fascinated by Sallu but have a crush on Ranbir and be willing to die for Hrithik😆.

Obsession is the last one.

@ topic: crush is romance related. it can be between man-woman, woman-woman and man-man and other combinations. fascination is not exclusive to romance.

It takes a shorter time if you have a replacement.
A love that was shared never really dies, it is locked up for eternity.
Even the whole universe is contained in our own soul.
