No, it's not resolved. Mohan might take the sofa this night. He might tell Kastur to have the bed, and he'll sleep on the couch.

The guy feels horrible already.

sofa is more universal than couch, though...

Anyway sofa means couch. It's English too (from Arabic originally if I'm not mistaken.)
