Loved it but I'am feeling very bad for NT hope she gets saved abd some one else takes revenge from them on her behalf also arjun and his family loose the case in the court.

Manpreet was sitting in her room; Pari had gone to her playschool. She was looking through her marriage album, they were so happy, Maan's had a twinkle in his eyes, he was in a very good mood, then Manpreet closed the album and inserted the marriage CD in her laptop and played it, they were in a cool mood, he was looking proudly at her and looking at that she remembered how much he was teasing her by holding her hand now and then, then she saw her bro Yash and Myra, Myra was as usual In her I am something mood, and in between she gave Manpreet I will kill you looks, on seeing this Manpreet thanked her stars that they have settled abroad.

Then she noticed Maan talking on the phone, she remembered that he had that oversees call and he went to his car to attend it, then Maan came back and she noticed the lost look in his eyes, she paused and zoomed the image and enlarged his eyes and quietly looked at them, though they were lost but they had a strange warmth. She stopped the CD and sighed, as she turned she found Savitri standing there.

S: what happen Manpreet? Is everything ok?

MP: yes Daadi, everything ok

S: no, there is certainly something missing, why were you so closely watching that particular sequence? Tell me beta you will feel light

MP: Daadi, the Maan in the video changed in minutes

S: pardon

MP: look I will tell you how

And she showed her what she was seeing

Savitri realized and looked at MP with concern

S: you noticed it now?

MP: no, I knew all the way

S: but you never seem to have objected

MP: I thought he will forget her, but

S: but

MP: everynight when he is with me he imagines her eyes her touch

S (closed her eyes): he tells you

MP: no, but I can feel

S: poor soul, what will you do now?

MP: I want to free him

MP: I want to free him Daadi you heard me right

S: wait I know you have given him more time than required but now you have Pari, and tell me is he still seeing that girl

MP: that's the worse part

S: he is in touch with her

MP: no Daadi, he does not even know who she is

S: what

MP: if he would have known her I would have understood, and above this the main thing is she is married

S: what? Is he mad?

MP: yes, he is and the thing is he is happy with it

S: Manpreet, do one thing first make use of that degree you had in hotel management

MP: how?

S: do some job, join Khurana hotels

MP: that would be easy

S: the try some other outlet

MP: like

S: ok, I have a friend whose grandson has started a small hotel ad she told me he is searching technical hands, you go and meet him

MP: ok Daadi, but I will tell Maan first

S: ok

Later Manpreet told Maan that she wants to work as now Pari also is going to school, and as expected Maan asked her to join Khurana group which she politely declined , seeing her resolution he suggested some groups and she told that Daadi has arranged for that and he agreed

Next day,

She went to the hotel , 'Hotel Rendezvous', she gave her name at the reception and she was shown to the owners office, she sat there waiting, she was served coffee and cookies.

After about ten minutes he came, she stood up to greet him

MP: hello sir, (she paused and looked at him) Prem??

Prem: Manpreet, what a pleasant surprise? How are you?

MP: I am fine, and what are you doing here?

P: here? Means

MP: I mean you said you will go to Australia

P: yes, I thought I will, but look I am here

MP: this is your hotel

P: yes, a small start, tell me how come you are here?

MP (paused): actually Savitri Devi is my husband's grand maa

P: oh, congratulations for your marriage (slightly disappointed)

MP: it was 4 years back, any ways thankyou

P: so Maan is your husband

MP: yes you know him?

P: who does not know him, he is a hotel magnet, why are you not joining him

MP: I want to do something other than being with him

P: any problem?

MP: no I just want to guve him some space

P: are you over possessive? (laughs)

MP: to an extent, yes

Later she joined Prem (a man of her age, he did his hotel management with Manpreet, they were very good friends and were termed as future couple, but MP was not sure about her stand she was confused between Maan and him, so when she was asked to marry Maan she agreed and later when she asked Maan about his love and the way he said she belived that she loves him)

As days went Manpreet was quite happy with her new job, she went well with Prem, Maan noticed the change in her, now she took more time to get ready, he smiled he had a strange sense of relief to see her smiling eyes, since the day they married he has not seen her so happy, he knew it was because of Prem, but he was happy because lately he had been feeling guilty for not loving her. He joined Prem for dinner or lunch along with Manpreet and felt happy when the two of them shared ideas and fought on small matters, he was not a jealous type, he had realized that he and she together have no happy future and he too wanted to clear the air before Pari is old enough to understand.

Feb 2009

He returned home from Broda and as she was helping him out of the jacket, she noticed him and smiled

MP: you met her?

M: um

MP: talked to her?

M: no

MP: why? Was she with her husband?

M: no

MP: then

M: she was sleeping

MP: sleeping?

M: when I boarded the train she was there sleeping on the opposite berth

MP: oh, where did she go?

M: I left before her, most probably she is somewhere in Delhi

MP: we will find her

M: Manpreet

MP: yes Maan if she is not with her husband there is no harm is talking to her

M: but, you'

MP: Maan I know we don't have a future together and moreover you know how I feel now

M: yes, we have been just good friends for all these years

MP: I dread the day when everyone will know that Pari is not our daughter but Yash Myra's

M: yes, I too fear that day, who would have known that when you went to Michigan for 7 months it was for not giving birth to Pari but to bring her here as our daughter

MP: hope no one knows this

M: I too hope so, maybe someday Yash will take her

MP: only if Myra lets him to, he fears her so much, she is so dreadful

M: yes, Manpreet I am happy for you, Prem is a nice guy, and he loves you

MP (blushes): I know

do you think NT died?and her sistre Myra I am sure you all hate her by now, she disowned her own daughter, Yash what kind of man he is can't even raise his voice against his wife, hope he understands and divorces her and take Pai back in his life, afterall Maan & Manpreet also have their own lives to live
