14 Nov 2011The scene opens with Neelakantharao offering 'Abhiskek' on 'Shivalingam'. He is praying to Lord Mahadeva for good fortune and blessings for his daughter Savitri alias Saavi. There is a lighter atmosphere at Anand's house. Narayan, supporter of 'Sudharak school of thoughts', is not happy with early bridal farewell of Savitri to her in-laws. He then expresses sympathy with Narayanrao in a father's position.

Savitri's mother scolds Savitri for being rude. Neelkanthrao apologises to Manda for Savitri's mistake. Manda tells that she wants Savitri at her home before next Thursday or else she will not allow Savitri to enter her house. Savitri's mother forces Savitri to beg for pardon to Manda. Savitri is deeply hurt by this incident. Savitri doesn't feel like going to her in-law's house.Neelkanthrao and Narayan on their way to Gokhale Guruji's house meet Narayan's brother Vinayakrao in a drunken state.

Neelakanthrao informs Rama about Good-omen given by Lord Shiva. He thanks Narayan for his piece of advice. Narayan says that it is his true friendship which is reflected in his advice. Vijay comes to inform them that Savitri is lost in the chaos at the Lord 'Someshwara's' palankeen procession. Everyone searches for Savitri. Nalini innocently enquires with Vijay about Savitri's whereabouts.
18 Nov 2011Durga Aatya, Narayan's mother saves Savitri. When Sadanand argues with Narayan, Durga Aatya scolds Sadanand. She wants Sadanand to be under house arrest for two days. She asserts that if he doesn't improve, she will see to it that he is mummified. She informs Narayan that she has found Savitri on her way home. Savitri's family is preparing for her farewell. A messanger comes to tell that Maruti Kelkar is quarrelling with Narayanrao. Maruti puts an allegation on Vinayak of outraging his daughter.
19 Nov 2011Sadanand interrupts Lord Anant's Pooja and curses Savitri. Rama Scolds Savitri for her straight forward talks. Savitri breaks out in tears but Nalini cheers her. Anand is eagerly waiting for Savitri's arrival. Anand is day-dreaming about Savitri. Shridhar gets Sadanand's message to help Vinayak to get a bail. He does so immediately. On his release, Vinayak goes directly to Savitri's paternal house.
21 Nov 2011Vinayak orders Shridhar to break his newly established relations with Neelkanthrao's family. Shridhar denied following his order. Vinayak threatens him to confiscate all his property and a house. Rama asks Nilkanthrao to speak with Narayan.
22 Nov 2011Rama and Neelakanthrao become emotional on Savitri's farewell day. Servant informs that the water level in the river bed is rising. Shridhar, Manda and Anand are getting ready to go to Neelkanthrao's house. They see an ill-omen. Manda taunts Rama and Savitri. Vinayak decides to takeover Narayan's property and the printing press.
23 Nov 2011Family members mourn at the loss of Anand. All the family members condemn Savitri as they feel that because of her they lost Anand.
24 Nov 2011Vinayak pretends to apologise to his paternal aunt. Vinayak reaches Savitri's dark room to threaten her. He gives 13 days notice to Shridhar to pay his debts. Manda does not leave a single chance to torture and insult Savitri.
25 Nov 2011Rama and Neelkanthrao feel sorry for Savitri's widowhood. Savitri is surprised to receive different treatment by in-laws on the 13th day of Anand's death. She denies wearing white and red sarees recommended for widows. She asks her mother to take her to her paternal house.
26 Nov 2011Rituals for deceased Anand are taking place on the 13th day of his death according to Hindu customs. Savitri clad in a white saree comes along with Rama to the veranda. Rama and Neelakanthrao weep at the sight. Narayan asks Neelkanthrao to take Savitri back to her paternal house to save Savitri's life. Neelakanthrao listens to Manda's vows to torture Savitri near the village common-well. Then he realises the seriousness of Narayan's advice.
28 Nov 2011Neelakanthrao makes up his mind to rescue Savitri. He brings back Savitri to his home against the will of her in-laws. He is ready to face the wrath of the crowd. Manda and Gokhale family is very angry and frustrated on Neelkanthrao's decision. Savitri creates tension by entering into the innermost cell of a village temple.
