Its so depressing to see the negativity against "Arnav" here. How hard it can be to understand his character. He is a flawed character. He is far from perfect. Totally imperfect for some!!

He has a past, that too a bitter one. He is the weak one. To hide his weakness, his vulnerable heart, he tries to be a ruthless soul which is not the real him. Still he would like the world to know him by that picture, cuz he had seen the pain, this cruel life has inflicted on him and his sister at a tender age.

He didn't ask Khushi to love him. Why our "good" girl Khushi is falling for him? Did he ever speak or behave properly with her? Did he ever give her any reason to be in love with him? No! cause thats LOVE---people!!!

It happens!! and it will make you do things you are not suppose to do. You change in LOVE! You are never the same person.

Our Strong and compassionate girl, Khushi wouldnt have taken any **it from him unless her heart was melting in some unknown emotion. She somehow could sense his broken heart and the facade he puts on for the world to see. Such is the strength of love. She wants to heal him, nurture him, love him---- but she is also still in the state of knowing , understanding her own emotions, her feelings.

So this the story guys!! Far from perfect Arnav and our almost perfect Khushi. What are we getting upset for? Why dont we sit and relax and see the emotions unfold and feel the power of strongest of all emotions and what it brings and how it changes Arnav Singh Raizada!!

This is not a soap for Samaaj- sudharak message! Its not setting a trend, encouraging infidelity or discouraging belief in the institution of marriage. ITs just telling a story----that too a beautiful one, which I'm sure brings smile to lots of us and stir our own feelings.

Then where is the problem? Why some people want some characters to even die??? wow...guys if its unbearable or if the soap gets dragged too much...stop watching!! or if there is any petition kind of thing which works with CVS etc, then sign it and see if it works, otherwise too bad for us!!

But till then why not soak ourselves in this sweet and sour love-story which hasn't been given a name yet!!

p.s this post is not meant to hurt anyone. just letting out few thoughts from my heart.

i like dis post vry much. ialso read some post where people were against arnav's character.vry ofensive language was used..dats nt gud...dats the character arnav has bn given...he is portraying it so well...it is just unbelievable...i really like arnav's character...so obsesssed wid it...as rightly said by the fan who started dis thread...dont post offensive languages for any of d characters...director is doing a gr8 job...luv d serial..:))

this is the character which isnt decorated all perfectness! unlike some other leads! he is human! rude arrogant angry..count hot here too! tell me how many you see all perfect with no ego and anger? so whats the big deal if ASR is like this! i never want him to be all lovey dovey seriously//i like this rudeness! he cares but doesnt wanna show! ist simple to understand him if you think it simple..when we get that "how can he" factor in ourselves thinking that he is a hero..he cant do wrong.. we do the big mistake! he is different and amazing character..thow who doesnt understand..probably they want like good guys more! 😊

It's just a story... Let's enjoy it while it lasts.
Nothing is perfect in this world, including in our own lives, so how can we expect perfection on tv?

Let's learn not to take things too seriously... It's too stressful yaar...

I am just as frustrated..I never try to justify him ..I love him da way he is ..Rude, mean , unrealistic , characterless,stupid and blah blah...But u see evryone is so obsessed with ASR ..They feel so strongly for him ( be that positive or negative ) 😉...U can love ASR or U can hate ASR but u can never be indifferent to ASR..Although ppl who dislike ASR will never admit that he is special ( even in a negative way )..Proves that his character is strong..His character is extremely well sketched or i shud say the only well sketched character on indian tv ( but obviously he has negative traits thats why many XYZ or other character fans wont admit that 😛)...

The story is how through Khushi, ASR becomes the man he should have been if he didn't have to deal with the burden of his past (which hasn't been revealed yet but has been hinted to be traumatic - and yes, people deal differently - a traumatic past is not an excuse, it is a cause - it is what sends people to therapy).

I can understand people not liking ASR, I can understand people thinking Khushi should find better. But she's not. She wants this man. And for all of his cruelty, he wants her too. I am beside myself as to why people watch this show, which is a piece of fiction and then come here on a daily basis to crib about the main character not changing into a worthy Prince Charming. It just won't work like that.

I am also sick and tired of being told regularly that any explanation given is not good enough to satisfy musings on why a character is a certain way. If what you are given is not enough to make the character of a make believe show good enough for you to stomach, please spare yourself the agony of being disappointed on a daily basis and stop watching. But if you do choose to watch, buyer beware.

How many cries are we going to hear DAILY that ASR is mean (he was from the first episode - a couple of weeks of Arnav and we have forgotten this?), how many DAILY cries are we going to hear about the levity with which social institutions are mocked (where the basis on why ASR was born in the first place is the mockery made of his sister's first marriage and the breakdown of his parents'?)?

This forum would have called for the murder of the two timing Mr. Rochester and then where would that have left Jane Eyre in the end?
