UPDATE FOR 17TH NOVEMBER
The police come to shantiniketan to take ansh. Savita asks the police officer as to what are the charges against ansh, she is informed that nandini has filed a rape case and threatening by ansh case against ansh. Savita tries to tell the police that it is a family matter, some misunderstanding between husband and wife (small anban) and they will sort it out and they should not arrest ansh. The officer is not interested and tells her that he does not think that it is only a family matter and if it was so, the case would not have been filed. He says that it will be best if ansh accompanies them to the police station. Ansh tries to act as sad and shocked putting up a brave face and tells savita not to worry and carry on with the mehndi ceremony and he will be back before the mehndi dries. Mihir is upset, the whole family is shocked. Ansh gives karan a look and leaves. Tulsi looks towards mihir but he turns away and calls savita to come with him for the bail application for ansh. (I wonder what happened to the other men in the house, why does savita need to go to a police station, the whole family was standing but mihir decided to take a woman of the house whose husband has died only few months ago along with him to police station- amazing! Ekta use some brains please)
Mihir and savita go to the police station, on the way in the car, savita keeps on saying how nandini has done such a wrong thing, that she was not forced to marry ansh, she married him on her own will. She says that if she knew that nandini is going to do like this she would have told everybody about karan and nandini earlier. She says that all this happening because of tulsi, she is the one who is supporting nandini and savita never thought someone like tulsi who always supported right will be so wrong. She says that Tulsi always kept the family together but today she is breaking it. (Basically savita was back to her bitching days and kept on putting fuel to fire as mihir was already upset with tulsi)
At the police station, ansh is there and so are nandini and Tanya. The officer warns ansh to stay away from Nandini. Ansh says that how could the police officer file a case against a husband for raping his wife, he says that nandini is his and no one can force him to stay away from her. Nandini tells the officer that may be ansh has not got the message yet, ansh is warned again. Mihir and savita arrive and listen to this. The officer tells mihir that he is leaving ansh this time with warning but he should be careful and stay away from nandini. They are leaving when savita turns back and comes to nandini. She tells her that what she is doing is very wrong and she has brought the whole family into shame. (some more dialogues on being wrong). Savita says that once the family matters become like this, no relations are left. Nandini says savita is correct when something like rape comes between husband and wife, there is not relation left. Ansh tells savita to let it go and says that if nandini wants a divorce, he will give her but will not let the family reputation go bad. They walk out when they are surrounded by reporters who keep on asking the three whether nandini had filed a rape case against ansh and whether she was having an affair with ansh's brother…. Mihir is most annoyed and they leave without answering.
Tanya tells that ansh is very upset and he can do anything now, nandini says let him do, he will be making his own case weaker. She seems determined to get ansh punished.
Tulsi in the meanwhile is upset and goes to shabina and razia and says that she is sorry that all this happened on razia's mehndi. Shabina says tulsi is making them strangers by saying so, they are not guests and they want to be part of both happiness and sorrow. Razia says that she is proud that tulsi is supporting her bahu, even though the whole family is not with her and she hopes that she also gets a saas like her. Tulsi says that she hopes what has happened to the bahu of this house never happens to anybody and if this had happened to a beti, the whole family would be with her. Razia says that she is lucky that her mehndi and nikaah are both happening under tulsi, she is so proud of this. Shabina is thoughtful, when asked by tulsi, she says that the marriage should be postponed as the son of the house is in trouble. Tulsi says no it and says that the son of the house does not deserve this.
Mihir and savita come back from the police station. Tulsi is waiting; savita tells tulsi that if tulsi supports nandini, she will be going against the entire shanti niketan. She says that she had to go to the police station to get ansh back and she had seen what she had never imagined when her husband was alive (I don't know what she meant- this was not the first time that the son of the house was arrested!) Mihir says that nandini is doing all this to get the divorce and because he told her to go away from the house, she has gone against the family. (Some more dialogues from savita, which I don't remember) Tulsi is shocked by their attitude and ansh is happy at mihir and savita supporting him. He mocks face at tulsi when savita and mihir have left and walks away.
Tulsi goes to ba and is sad and says that she has become very alone. She is scared that in trying to get keep her relation with nandini, she will lose all her other relations. Ba tells her to support the truth always and quotes some lines from the Gita.
There is Id celebration in shantiniketan and everybody is enjoying. Everybody is wishing each other and hugging, the kheer being eaten. Shabina is giving idi (money given to everyone- she was giving 500 rupees to all). She spots ansh and goes over to him and tells him to take his idi. Ansh makes a face and says that she can keep this small things with herself. Shabina is sad, tulsi overhears and tells shabina not to worry. (Gives some dialogue about people who do not care about anybody and so on). She gives a stern look at ansh; ansh is hardly bothered.
Karan has just come from outside and is going to his room when he is stopped by mihir. Mihir says that he has something important to discuss with him, some business matter. He asks him as to where is he coming from and then before karan can answer, sarcastically says that why is he asking such a question, karan must be coming from nandini's place. Mihir tells karan that by supporting nandini, karan is going against the family and he is ashamed in calling him his son. He says that he can never accept the relationship between karan and nandini. He says that whether nandini gets a divorce from ansh or not, but karan will never get nandini; tumhara aur nandini ka rishta kabhi nahin judega. Karan is shocked.
