Well buffie, I don't wanna comment on SS here abt she being a gud person. 😛

The only thing we hated abt her was her clinging nature , PDA, immature behavior in public, pathetic taste for clothes, yelling n many more 😡. May be shez a real nice person wid her co-stars & others 😛, who cares 😆😆😆, at the end of the day, wat u portray in front of the big screen matters 😳. Coz itz we the viewers/fans who judge these stars on their behavior. To some extent it is wrong coz u dont know him/her as a person, but itz human tendency can't help it😃


As far as Smriti goes, off late shez got herself into controversies that she influences Ekta's opinion about the co-stars and smriti has also been responsible for one of the very imp co-star's (Apara Mehta's) exit from kyunki 😭. I have no clue if this is true, coz most of us believe in media. When it comes to Shubaavi, shez become one of the imp vamps of kyunki now 😡, n shez been given more importance than smriti off late. So, to cover up further controversies (coz smriti is Ekta's pet 😉 )she must have stated smriti as her best companion.

Thats all I can think of now. 😃

I don know about you buffie But siting miles away from Any remotely famous Telly or Bollywood actor Never actually even seen them from a distance Of even 5000 metres or actually spoken to them For like 4 seconds ever except read articles of them which by the way many reporters write just to fill up the gossip so that we can judge about them.I tell you need to meet a person and talk to him for atleast half an hour to know what kind of people they are.And some people we begin to understand only after some months or maybe years.So framing an opinino based on what you just heard i feel is totally unfair towards the person. Who knows she migh be really nice. 😛

I agree that we should not judge a person on the basis if how they appear in the media, because the actual truth may be drastically different. Now, haven't all the tree-huggies been telling you not to judge Mona on the basis of her interviews?? 😉

Regarding SS, well, she may not be as such a bad person, but then we have plenty of offscreen evidence to substantiate our views of her--

1. The fan (who was a neutral member and not even a JJKN watcher) who talked abt SS dragging AA away from her.
2. Sid's cousins who met SS at a NAvy Ball and said that she is "mean".
3. Sid's own encounter with sanda in Goa.
4. My colleague, who is actually quite a sanda and esp ss fan, telling me that at the wedding where she met the, ss was clinging to aa and dragged him away from the ppl he was talking to.

Also there is something to be said for body language....nonverbal communication is a better way of gauging ppl than what they actually say...i should know coz i teach this. I do feel there is something "amiss" in ss from such cues.

Having said that, i dont mean that she is really a bad or vicious person....just that she definitely needs to grow up and not be so narrow-minded.

Actually, coming to think of it, i agree with you..after the Food For Thought thread..i really have been thinking, that maybe we have been too harsh on SS...i mean, we don't know her😕..therefore, CANNOT make a decision about ss, without personally knowing her..so we are predjudicing against her..we have an image of ss, based on what we have heard..hence, from what we have deciphered from the Media..thats exactly what predjudice is-Prejudice is, as the name implies, the process of "pre-judging" something(aka ss). In general, it implies coming to a judgment on the subject(aka ss) before learning where the preponderance of the evidence actually lies, or formation of a judgement without direct or actual experience.

AND, in this case we have also discriminated against ss..by using this predjudice..by PROTESTING against her part in JJKN..now tell me, is this unfair, or not???😕..I mean, forbidding somebody do their job due to your own predjudiced reasons ..Just because we "heard" that ss was going to "ruin" MandA's chemistry, by "forcing" herself on the sets, because she wanted to keep an eye on her husband..has the thought ever arisen that there might have been another reason why ss wanted a job in JJKN???😕..maybe, she wanted to spend more time with her hubby?(as it shows clearly that she loves her hubby to death, from all the interviews....🤢)..she always stated that she never got to spend enough time at home with AA, because of their tight schedues..and she ALWAYS wanted to work with AA, she would one day even open her own film production company, just so her and AA could work together!. yes moni....you're right....I think all of us were just too harsh on that girl.....hell, she yells, screams,hugs,etc etc but that shouldnt really be a reason to dislike her...maybe she's a diamond in the rough😉...I mean, if she's not nice, she wouldnt be having those many friends.....yes,we tend to overlook the preponderance of the good points that people tell about her and we chose to only single out the bad points and bash bash bash.....sometimes when I read my old threads, I wonder if it was me😆😕....I mean, I sometimes really cannot think that I have been so harsh, so immature and so childish😭...awwww, I know how much trouble I gave lashy...sorry lashy😊..even I am to be blamed as at some point, even I have said that mandA should have married and all that.....honestly speaking,I feel so embarrassed and remorseful when I read those old threads of mine....alas, I atleast realized now...better late than never😛...
