and then she dialled bulbul's landline number…bulbul picked it up and said "hello"

gulaal said "bulbul mein gulaal"

bulbul was surprised she asked "gulaal tu kanha hai aur kaise hai pata hai yanha sab kitni chinta kar rahe hai tu kanha par hai"

gulaal interrupted her in between and said "dekh bulbul meri baat dhyaan se sun woo hamla durgesh k aadmi ne karvaya tha mujhe marna chahte the aur phir kisi bhi tarah mein waha se nikal gaayi…phir ek case mein mujhe kuch bahoot ahem sabot haath lage hai isliye kuch din k liye mein bahar hun aur bilkul theek hun papa se bolna meri chinta naa kare mein jaldi hi waapas aa jaungi"

before bulbul could say anything gulaal ended the call

and thought "sorry bulbul abhi nahi bata sakti mein kanha par hun kuch waqt chahiye mujhe thodhi din baad apne aap aa jaungi…..1 min se kam baat ki hai isliye call bhi trace nahi ho paayega"

and after paying she came out of the shop

she saw kesar coming towards her

he said "kanha chali gayi thi gulaal…arey baba mein mazak kar raha tha sach mein vegetarian khana order kiya tha snails nahi the"

gulaal looked at him and smiled and said "chalo ghar chalte hai"

kesar said "ok"

and then he looked at the std shop and hung his head down in desparation

gulaal called him "kesar chale"

he said in low voice "ok"

while walking gulaal stopped outside the archies shop she saw angry bird toy…and her heart filled with joy to see it…kesar looked at her and asked "kya hua"

she snapped out and said "kuch nahi chalo"

and they came out of the mall and drove away home

in the meanwhile bulbul reached revji's residence dushyant was sitting there impatentialy

bulbul looked at revji and dushyant and informed about the call….

Revji asked "sach mein gulaal ka call tha"

Bulbul said "haan uncle gulaal ka hi tha usne kaha woo thek hai kisi case k silsile mein kuch din liye gahr se bahar hai jaldi hi waapas aa jaayegi aap fiqr mat kariye"

Revji asked "kya bataya kanha gayi hai"

Bulbul said "jaldbaazi mein nahi bataya aur phone cut ho gaya"

Dushyant asked "gulaal kis case ko solve kar rahi thi"

Constable sharma said "madam k ek do chori k cases the woo to choti chori thi jaise south delhi k mandir se haar chori ho gaya tha aur tulip jewelers k case woo bhi ek- 2 crore k chori thi aur phir saddam bhai k murder case bhi madam k haath hi tha"

Dushyant didn't par attention towards the theft cases he said "kanhi gulaal durgesh k khilaf sabot ikhata karne to nahi gaayi…. hey bhagwaan gulaal kisi musibat mein naa pad jaaye"

Revji said "dushyant relax gulaal pehle ek officer hai baad mein kuch aur woo meri beti hai isliye pehle usne farz samjha hoga aur kisi case ko solve karne mein lagi hogi….waise bhi gulaal ne pehle bhi bahoot saare cases handle karke CID ka naam uncha kiya hai..kuch din mein woo case solve karke aa jayegi"

Dushyant asked to bulbul "par usne tumhe phone kyu kiya mujhe bhi to kar sakti thi"

Bulbul replied "ho sakta hai apka phone naa laga ho yaa phr durgesh k aadmi ka khtra ho"

Dushyant heard his name and his jaws clenched in fist he said "durgesh ne apni maut bula li hai uski wajah se gulaal aaj mere pass nahi hai….use aur uske saathi ko iski keemat chukane padegi"

Then he instructed his officers "is durgesh k gang ka khel khatam kar do jinda bachna nahi chahiye humare kitne saathi us shootout mein ghayal hue hai seedhe encounter kar dena us gang ka thek hai"

Officers obeyed his order and said "don't worry sir yeh log nahi bachenge"

at night kesar kunal and gulaal sat for dinner…..gulaal was in the light mood she was happy as for few days she could live her life…beside kesar was infront of her….

While for kesar it was tough….the girl who rejected him was sitting infront of him…he was sad and introspective his yearning longiness for this woman hasn't changed a bit….he was like cloud without water rejected by the earth as she yearned for water laden cloud and still the white cloud was protecting her providing her shield and looking at her with deep longiness with a fultile hope to accept him

Kesar was looking at her with deep love….kunal looked at him and put hand on his shoulder and looked at him to console him…..to make him understand plz stay out of gulaal…..kesar looked at him and squeezed a faint smile

After dinner kunal said "chal kesar bahar chalte hai….apni jagah par"..he said to lighten his mood

Kesar agreed and nodded his head in consent

Gulaal saw them walking out she asked "kanha jaa rahe ho"

Kesar stopped and looked back and said in low voice "woo bahar jaa rahe hain kuch kaam hai"

Gulaal said "thek hai mein bhi chalti hun"

Kesar looked at her and said "nahi tum nahi chal sakti"

Gulaal rolled her eyes in amusement and asked "kyu mein kyu nahi chal sakti"

Kesar said "woo jagah ladkiyun k liye nahi hai"

Gulaal said in suspicion "thek hai jao"

And then she said to herself "aise kaun si jagah hai jahan mein nahi jaa sakti chal kar dekhna hoga shayad koi sabot haath lag jaaye"

While they went inside to pick up their jacket gulaal quietly went inside the garage and sat in the boot space of the car

Kesar and kunal came out and sat inside the car and he started the car and drive away

Soon they reached in the dark abounduned place of the bhuj

Kesar and kunal came out of the car and kesar heard some noices in the bootspace

He closed his eyes in frustration and then opened his boot space and said "bahar nikalo gulaal"

Gulaal looked at him and came out quietly

Kesar looked at her in anger and said "kyu aayi yanha mana kiya tha nahi aana hai…yeh jagah tumhare liye sahi nahi hai"

Gulaal looked back and said "police waale hain galat jagah hi jaate hain samjhe"

Kesar looked at her and said "par tum ek ladki ko"

Gulal turned back and said "aur tum hypocrite….ab chalo kanha jaa rahe the"

Kesar looked at her in frustration "wht the hell"

Kunal intervened "arey yaar kyu sar phod raha hai…aana chahiti hai to aane de waise bhi police waali hai teri nahi sunegi"

And then kesar kunal and gulaal went inside the building they climbed down the stairs and reached the basement of the building

Gulaal saw it was a pub it was frequented by the criminals they were relishing there…some were gambling some were laughing loudly making weird noises…..only men were present inside it….as gulaal walked between them they were looking gulaal with supsrise

Gulaal was embarrassed to walk and kesar was angry…..soon they sat nearby and gulaal asked "yeh kaun si jagah hai"

Kesar replied "illegal bar hai…yeh dry state hai isliye yanha illegal bar mein drinks serve kar rahe hai"

Gulaal said "oh to yeh baat hai abhi batati hun is bar manager ko"

Kesar interrupted "kyu tum kyu bataungi…har jagah apni nose poke karna

Jaruri hai…woo pila raha hai hum pee rahe hain tumhe kya problem hai aur waise bhi tum off duty ho is bechare ko gujrat police k liye chod do"

And then waiter came and asked for the order

Kesar said "one whisky pointing at kunal and one vodka for me"

Gulaal looked at kesar and asked "aur mere liye"

Kesar looked at her in utter surprise "what do u mean"

Gulaal looked at the waiter and asked "ek extra large beer le kar aana"

Kesar's mouth was wide open he said "what tum beer peeyugi"

Gulaal looked at him and said "haan…so what waise bhi mein off duty hun woo pila hai hum pee rahe hai right"

Kesar gave a irritated look and said "noways…"he said to the waiter khabardaar jo beer laye to"

Gulaal looked at him and said "chupchap jaakar lekar aana ok"

Waiter was confused he asked "mujhe karna kya hai?"

Kesar looked at her and said "ladkiyaan sharab nahi peete hai"

Gulaal said "kyu sirf ladke hi beer pee sakte hai"

Kesar said "haan"

Gulaal replied "tum sach mein hypocrite ho"

Kesar shot back "aur tum ziddi tumhe baat naa maanane k bimari hai na"

Gulaal looked at him and replied with equal enthusiasm "aur tumhe bakwaas karne ki"

Kunal looked at them and intervened "ok enough kesar tujhe kya problem hai agar gulaalji ko beer peene hai to peende de remember "piyo aur peeno do…take it easy"

He said "waiter jaakar extra large beer le aana and bottles on me"

Gulaal smiled and teased kesar with her raised eyesbrows and kesar turned his face away in anger

Soon the drinks were served kunal and gulaal were enjoying their drinks and kesar was sitting there irritated…after sometime kunal got up and joined other ppl who knew him

Gulaal drank half beer instantly kesar snatched the glass and said "bas ab nahi"

Gulaal looked at him and said "arey waapas karo"

Kesar looked at her and said "bas bahoot hua ab nahi milegi"

Gulaal looked at him and then thought for a while and then replied naughtily "kesar do na"

Kesar said "nahi"

Gulaal said "kesar tum kitne handsome aur sweet ho"

Kesar looked at her and smiled and said "acha buttering ki jaa rahi hai…thek hai sirf thodhi si"

And he gave the glass back and she hurriedly started drinking it again

Kesar stopped her "bas kanha than naa thodhi si"

Gulaal looked at him and smiled kesar "tum kitne handsome ho"

Kesar smiled and said "oh yaa phir se buttering hardluck"

Gulaal "kitne cute ho"

Kesar "hardluck"

Gulaal said "meri kitni care karte ho"

Kesar "hardluck"

Gulaal "mujhe thode se ache lagte ho"

Kesar heart pounded hard he stammered "h..hard luck"

Gulaal "I…I"

And he was goner his heartbeat was accelerating he looked at her and asked "I ???"

Gulaal smiled and snatched the glass of beer back

Kesar was frustrated he said "gulaal jawab nahi diya"

Gulaal smiled and said "hardluck"

Kesar said "sentence poora karo"

Gulaal "hardluck"

Kesar asked "kya kehna tha"

Gulaal in teasing tone "hardluck"

Kesar grabbed her hand and with intense passion asked "I what?"

Gulaal looked at him with sweet and subtle emotion she stared deep in his eyes and said "I"

They were looking deep into each other eyes

And then heard kunal calling them aloud "kesar….gulaal"

Gulaal turned around and then said to kesar "I hate u"

Kesar took a deep breath and said to himself in frustration "kya soch raha tha aur kyu expect kar raha tha"

Kunal came there in increased breath and said "chalo jadli yanha se nikalo"

Gulaal asked "par kyu"

Kunal said "time nahi hai"

And kesar and gulaal and kunal started running

In between kesar asked "arey batayega bhi kya hua hai"

Kunal said "arey yaar mat puch wanha police k raid padi hai chal jaldi nikal yanha se"

Gulaal stopped and said "police k raid…….to mein kyu bhaag rahi hun…mein to khud cop hun"

Kesar and kunal stopped and looked at her and burst into laughter

Gulaal asked "arey kyu hans rahe ho"

Kesar said "woo aaj tak criminal ko hi police waale se bhaagte hue dekha tha aaj pehle baar ek police officer ko police officer se bhaagte hue dekh rahe hain"

Gulaal laughed too

Then kesar went near his car and opened his boot space and said naughtily "gulaal ghar waapas chal rahe hain chalo waapas dikki mein beith jao"

Gulaal looked at him irritatedly and closed the boot space and said "booo dikki mein beitho tum mein to front seat mein beithungi" and she sat on the front seat

Kesar smiled and sat in driving seat and kunal sat on the back seat

Kesar was driving the car quietly kunal was drunk and gulaal was in half drunken state……in the drunken state kunal started singing the old hindi film song

"Hum hain rahi pyaar k hum se kuch naa boliye jo bhi pyaar se mila hum usi k ho liye"

Kesar looked at him and smiled

And kunal repeated the same lines "Hum hain rahi pyaar k hum se kuch naa boliye jo bhi pyaar se mila hum usi k ho liye"

Kesar said "bas kar kunal bahoot gaa liya"

But kunal continued the same line "Hum hain rahi pyaar k hum se kuch naa boliye jo bhi pyaar se mila hum usi k ho liye"

Kesar was irritated he said "bas bahoot ho gaya"

Gulaal looked at kunal and since she was also half drunk she joined him and started singing same line "Hum hain rahi pyaar k hum se kuch naa boliye jo bhi pyaar se mila hum usi k ho liye"

Keasr gave a weird expression he said "shutup gulaal ab tum shuru ho gayi

But kunal and gulaal in the teasing tone irritated kesar by singing the line more loudly "Hum hain rahi pyaar k hum se kuch naa boliye jo bhi pyaar se mila hum usi k ho liye"

Kesar was irriated he closed his eyes and said "areyy yaar kya ek hi line gaaye jaa rahe ho kuch naya gaao"

But gulaal came near him and sang in his ears "Hum hain rahi pyaar k hum se kuch naa boliye job hi pyaar se mila hum usi k ho liye"

Kesar couldn't say anything further as he looked how carefree and enthusiastic gulaal was…….she was looking as beautiful as a innocent waterfall…..careless fearless just flowing on her own will and her own desire…..he had never saw her so happy and carefree and a tear of joy fell from his eyes…he looked ahead while kunal and gulaal continued their singing throughout the journey

After sometime they reached home kesar and kunal came out of the car kunal quietly went inside

Gulaal came out too she was staggering while walking kesar looked at her and supported her he put her arm around his shoulder and passed his hand around her waist…gulaal was half drunk but she could feel his touch she shivered softly and feeling of yearning took control of her…

She moved her head slightly towards him and he felt the softness of her lips against his neck….he was thrilled it was like he was living in some state of suspension waiting for his saviour to come and bring him back to life…he looked at her with the deepest love……She looked at him with her beautiful eyes he withdrew his eyes but gulaal's eyes were fixed on him…….his heart lurched….…kesar gently took her to her bedroom and gently laid her in the bed….and pull the blanket and covered her…he was about to leave but gulaal caught his hand…..he looked back and saw gulaal was looking at him with deep fondness she was gazing him with her drowsy eyes….his heart was beating fast…gulaal pulled him and made him sat beside her….kesar looked at her and their gaze locked….gulaal could see the love and hope in his passionate gaze..there was a stony silence in the dim lighted room….unable to resist gulaal moved forward and planted a soft kiss on his cheeks…making his breath and heartbeat unsteady

She smiled and said "thanks mujhe lane k liye agar tum nahi hote to mein yanha tak kaise aati" she said in half drunken state

He looked at her….the weight of lonileness that he was carrying without her in his life was disappearing slowly he wanted to hold her wanted to love her wanted to touch her once but he knew she was not in her senses so he turned his face away

Gulaal couldn't bear his indifferent attitude she hold him back and placed her hand on his face and said "kyu nazare chura rahe ho….kyu nahi dekh rahe mere taraf" turning his face to her

Kesar said "raat bahoot ho gayi hai so jaao"

Gulaal replied "tum mujhse naaraz ho? mein tumhe bahoot hurt kiya tha naa…."and she kissed him back on his cheeks and said "sorry…maaf kar do"

Kesar swallowed hard he said "gulaal plz so jao"

She continued "tum bahoot ache ho kesar"

Then she looked at him waiting for him to reply her but he hung his head down..She said softly "puchoge nahi ache ho yaa mujhe ache lagto ho?"

Kesar said "gulaal u r drunk"

Gulaal continued "puchoge nahi woo kaun sa ankaha sa ehsaas hai woo kaun si anjani si tadap hai woo kaun sa unsuljha jhukaav hai.humare beech…...puchoge nahi"

Kesar remained silent

Gulaal looked deep in his eyes and with her whole heart said "kesar I….I"

Unable to speak further she shut her eyes and put her head on his shoulder and slept

He sat there for sometime then gently passed his arms around her and said "gulaal mein tumse naaraz nahi hun…and I know tum mujhse kya kehna chahti thi I know u hate me…but still I cant stop loving u…sorry gulaal but I cant stop loving u" and his heart crushed inside him and tears fell down

silently he stood there holding her in his arms for long and then

He gently laid her in the bed and went outside
