Dillon ki Dastan:KaSh

Hello, everyone, im very new to this forum. Im starting a ff based on KaSh of Dil Mil gaye. I posted it on dil mil gaye blogspot-which is by the way, an absolutely wonderful blog-and since i had an account here, so i thought i may as well go ahead. This is the intro and if you guys like it, I'll continue.

Riddhima was sitting quietly while her cha-cha ji drove them to their house. Well, more precisely, cha chi ji's house.
Riddhima had been living with them for three months now and it was easily the worst time of her life. Her parents, Dr. Shashank and Padma, had died in a fire accident. There was a gas leakage and Riddhima wasn't at home. The house was destroyed and her parents died due to suffocation. In the first few months, Riddhima used to stay up all night crying. She felt so alone. Her cha cha cha ji and cha chi ji offered no support towards her. In fact, cha chi ji hated Riddhima's guts. She always found fault in everything Riddhima did. And her daughter, Soniya, was the biggest stuck up snob Riddhima had ever met in her life.

Earlier that day

Aaj, Soniya ko dekhne ke liye ladke wale aaye the. Cha chi ji apni chattar pattar me lagi hui thi. Apni beti ke guno ki lambi list jo banyi thi wo rat ke bolne lagi hui thi ladke walon ko. Riddhima was disgusted. Not a single word was true. And, Soniya, she was doing what she did best. Look stupid. She kept batting her eyelashes at the guy who was looking more and more uncomfortable by the minute. Riddhima felt bad for him.
Riddhima brought tea and snacks for them. When she was returning to the kitchen, she felt lightheaded and the tray slipped from her hand. Riddhima grabbed the wall for support. It was over in five secs. She looked back and everyone was looking at her. She smiled nervously.
Ri: sorry wo zara sa chakar aa gaya tha. She mumbled.
Then she quickly went into the kitchen. The talking started again. A minute later her cha chi ji entered the kitchen. She looked pissed.
Cha chi: kya hua tha?
Ri: kuch nahi bas aase hi. Thoda sa chakar aa gaya tha.
Cha chi: ye koi naya bahana to nahi ha na kaam se chutkara pane ka.
Ri: ji? Nahi nahi sach main-
Cha chi: haan haan janti hu tere nakhron ko. Acha sun koi gad bad nahi honi chahiye. Samajh gayi. Aur khana ache se banana. Itna acha ladka mere pyari si bache ke liye mila hai. Agar teri vajhe se koi bhi gad bad hui to'.
Ri: (Pyari si bachi my foot) samajh gai. Nahi hogi.
But Riddhima ki kismet hi phooti hoi hai. To gad bad to honi hi thi.
When Riddhima was serving the dinner, she accidently tripped over one of the chairs and the dal in her hand went down the boys' father's kurta. The dal was hot, by the way.
Ri: oh shit (she said to herself)
Uncle: aah aah aah. Pani pani pani.
His wife (who was a little blind but refused get glasses kyun ki fashion nahi tha na) grabbed a glass of water and started making him drink it.
Aunty: ye lijiye. Shor kyun macha rahe ho.
Uncle pushed the glass away.
Uncle: are mera muh nahi meri chati jal rahi hai.
Aunty: lo phir aise kaho na.
She grabbed the jug and dumped it on his chest. The uncle was soaking wet.
Ri: I'm so sorry, Uncle. Aap wahan bathroom main ja kar clean up kar li jiye.
Soniya was giggling the whole time and her dad was trying to make her stop.
Cha chi grabbed Riddhima's arm and took her to the kitchen.
Cha chi: (angry) kaha tha na maine ki koi gad bad nahi honi chahiye to ye kya kiya?
Ri: sorry cha chi ji vo mera payr'
But her cha chi ji was on a roll.
Cha chi: tujhse koi kam ache se nahi hota. Do din pahele apne cha cha ji ka jurta press se jala diya aur us se pehle tune sare kapdon mein bleach dal diya aur sare safed banyan aur chadi gulabi hai'
Riddhima stood there listening to all her mistakes. Suddenly, it felt really hot in the kitchen and she felt like throwing up. Actually she was going to throw up and she did. On her cha chi ji.
Cha chi: chi ye kya'
Ri: I'm sorry.
Then, she fainted.

Back to driving home

It was 3 o'clock and they had arrived at her Uncle's house. When they went inside, everything was quiet and it seemed like her cha chi and Soniya had gone to sleep.
Ri: Thank God, aaj ke liye to bach gayi (she whispered to herself).
Voice: aa gaye.
